Let's see...a nice mix of guys and gals.

1. Richard Dawson...*sigh* He could read the phone book and I'd fall at his feet.
2. Brett Somers and Charles Nelson Reilly- as a package, they're hilarious.
3. Fannie Flagg- she may not spell too well, but she's funny. And a great novelist!
4. Betty White- game shows aren't game shows without Betty.
5. Bert Convy- He had that nice boy next door charm.
6. Gene Rayburn- I think he was straight out of the Match Game asylum himself.
7. Bill Bixby- panelist on several shows. He was smart and cute!
8. Patti Deutsch- what a wit this woman has!

  • Allen Ludden - Mr. Password himself
  • Gene Rayburn - Match Game
  • Chuck Woolery - Original Wheel of Fortune host (preferred him over Pat)
  • Art Fleming - Original Jeopardy host (preferred him over Alex)
  • Alex Trebek (pre Jeopardy)
  • Tom Kennedy - All game shows he hosted. Did a good job taking over Password Plus when Allen Ludden was unable to continue due to his health. His presence alleviate the sadness the production and the audience felt with the impending death of Allen.
  • Susan Stafford - Orignal Wheel of Fortune letter turner (preferred her over Vanna)
  • Bill Cullen - the dean of game shows
  • Peter Marshall - Original master of the Hollywood Squares (good seeing him on the updated version of the show and hosting it one night along with giving the rules of the show the first night he was on.
  • Elaine Joyce - What a hottie. She always lights up a game show celebrity panel.
  • Larry Blyden - What's My Line
  • Garry Moore - To Tell the Truth

Carol Merrill of Let's Make a Deal. She had the girl next door look about her. Good seeing her on Hollywood Squares recently during game show week.

1. Wink Martindale - Gambit and Tic Tac Dough

2. Elaine Stewart - Co-host of Gambit

3. Johnny Olsen - Best announcer of all time

4. Jack Narz - Concentration

I sure miss those game show legends. Those people really represent the true meaning of game shows. These people who are so called host are just in there to make a name for themselves and making the show only about them. It should be about the contestants.

Bob Eubanks, I loved the way he would laugh at the contestants answers on The Newlywed Game.

Richard Dawson, he was always so charming while kissing the ladies on Family Feud.
