Default What's The Angriest Anybody Ever Got on The Show? (Words or Actions)

I think one that stands out for me is, "Wally's Dinner Date" (i.e The White Fox) Beaver is going through the newspapers in the living room because he needs a current event for school Remember when Wally first tries to call the restaurant and gets all nervous and they don't make a reservation for him? He hangs up the phone and Beaver says something like, "Boy Wally, what a lucky break! Now you don't even have to go!" Wally gets pissed at Beaver and starts kicking his newsapers all over the floor and yells at Beaver as he's kicking the papers:

"LOOK BEAVER! WHY DON'T YOU PICK UP THESE PAPERS!!!!"

(I call this scene....."Wally's classic conniption!")

Another good one is from Wally and Alma...only this time it's June who's mad. I mentioned this in another post, but since it's relevant, I'll talk about it again. It's so funny. Wally is supposed to take Alma Hanson to the school picnic, but Alma's mother starts calling and asking Wally to do all sorts of other things with Alma as well, like playing tennis and a dance at the Country Club to name a couple, well anyway, Wally wants to ditch her in a nice way so he starts bringing friends with him when he visits Alma. Well Alma's mother thinks that these boys are coming on their own to see Alma, and thinks Wally is messing things up so she goes to the Cleavers and starts accusing Wally of hanging around Alma too much. Well this infuriates June. She is about to really lay into Mrs Hanson, but Ward actually has to grab her and pull her back, he has to restrain her! It's so funny watching her try to defend her son and Ward is holding her back. When the Hansons are leaving Mrs Hanson says "I hope we haven't kept you from your dishes Mrs. Cleaver." And June replies angrilly "Not at all. They're used to being alone." When Ward comes back from seeing the Hansons out, June has to leave the room she's so mad. It's great! You can practically see steam coming from June's ears!

Wow...I typed alot! Sorry!

I think the madst i ever saw any of them so far was in "Eddies girl" When june Tells Carolyn cunningham that Wally will go with her to a school dance and He gets all mad and starts yelling at June and Ward because Carolyn is Eddie's girl I never saw anyone especially Wally get so upset.

That was the one I was gonna go with sami, when June loses it because Wally's haircomb corrupted Beav. So funny.

Of course, Ward was always losing it in the earlier shows.

Wally got pretty mad at Eddie in the ep where they swapped dates for a dance and Wally goes into town to meet the girl and finds out she is taller than him. When he gets back to the house he is just about to punch Eddie in the face when June walks in.

I remember Wally getting very angry in Wally's Weekend Job. That's when Wally get's a job at the soda shoppe and Eddie and Clarence (don't call me Lumpy) play a joke on him. They call the ice cream place and pretend to be Mary Ellen's dad and order alot of ice cream. Mary Ellen is having a slumber party and her dad doesn't want any guys there. When Wally shows up delivering the ice cream and gets run out by her dad. He goes home and get's mad about it, leaves and pours ice cream on Lumpy's head and Eddie's shirt.

(Beaver Trivia)

Jerry Mathers told a story at a book signing, about a detective search that was done to find Rusty Stevens who played Larry. The detective finally located the house where he lived. He went up to the front door inquiring about the child star. His wife responded by telling the individual that he had the wrong house. She went back in and told Rusty the story. Rusty said to his wife that the detective was correct in his assumption. Flabbergasted, his wife asked, Well, why didn't you ever tell me about this? Rusty told her, it never came up in the conversation

Oh yeah, the Bear poem episode could be an example of that. Ward starts yelling at the Beaver because he waited so long to write a poem. I love that episode.

I think it was when Ward got mad at Beaver for not telling the truth in the haircut episode.

I still haven't seen all the episodes yet, but I know in the one "Beaver's poem" (I THINK that's the name of it) where Ward writes the poem for Beaver. Well, at the beginning of the show Ward is trying to help Beaver write it and Ward gets really upset and annoyed!! Beaver's about ready to cry and he says "Stop yelling at me!" and Ward goes "I"M NOT YELLING!!" and obviously he's yelling when he said that! That's one episode I can think of where somebody angry!

Default Ward gets angry

In the episode Beaver's House Guest (dealt with divorce), Ward gets angry because June forgot to tell the girl who does his shirts not to put starch in them. He yells at her that he doesn't think its too much to ask for her to remember to tell them no starch. June responds with "my you are in a mood this morning". A few minutes later Beaver asks Ward why people get a divorce. Ward tells Beaver that people who get a divorce don't get along and scream at each other. Beaver says, "like you just did". Ward says, "I did not scream at your mother, I merely raised my voice."

There's one very early episode where Beaver and Wally are fighting and attacking each other on the ground. They were really going at it!!! Its probably the most realistic "fight scene" I've ever seen! Its the episode where June makes them spend a day together, but Beaver made plans to go fishing with Gus and Wally made plans to go to a baseball game with Chester.

Default June gets angry

In the episode, Beaver Runs Away, June stays very angry with Ward throughout most of the program. She says "Ward Clever, if he does that, I'll never speak to you again" when Wally tells them Beaver said he might join some pirates and come back with a wooden leg. She does not speak to him while they are doing the dishes. She throws the dish cloth down in the sink and slams the refrigerator door. She tells him, "Alright, if you won't get the car out and look for Beaver, I will."

An instance of Beaver getting angry occurs in the episode Silent Treatment. Beaver gets angry with June because she insists that he go to the market for her right away rather than letting him go with Wally and Eddie to watch them install a radio in Eddie's car. Beaver spends most of the episode giving June the cold shoulder. He speaks to her in a cold formal way. He calls her Mother rather than Mom He won't accept food from her at the table when she offers to pass him something. He refuses to take her salad plate to the kitchen saying Wally can take Mother's plate. He refuses the extra blanket June offers him after he is in bed for the night, but gladly accepts a blanket when Ward offers it, etc.

I like both of these episodes.
