Default I believe that there no changes at all in the opening and closing credits for S&S

I remember someone telling me that there was changes that were minor in the opening and closing credits of Sanford and Son. I watched very closely and it appears that the opening and closing credits were always the same the entire time the show was on the air. So if someone can find changes in the opening and closing credits, please let me now.

One of the changes that I can think of is, in later seasons, Lamont does not turn his head before making the turn into the yard, in the truck. There is another, involving Fred, but I can't think of it, at this time.

There are two different openings, but both are so similiar you really can't tell. The Fred thing is this, he walks out with the fan but walks a longer distance and sits it down further from where he does in the earlier seasons. Flash was right about the Lamot thing, and it seems to be a longer drive than the earlier seasons. And when Fred is reading the newspaper in the second opening, he wears glasses, but in earlier seasons, there are no glasses.

I also noticed another change, the openings credits when Fred puts on the glasses, their is a woman walking across the street with a light blue jacket on just as lamont turns into the side yard. The opening credits when Fred is not wearing the glasses, there is no one walking across the street as lamont pulls into the side yard.

This is an excellent thread. I too have noticed these. I dont remember what episode or how many, but i remember seeing in the closing credits Richard Pryor's name. I only saw this once when the marathon was on and every show after it i never saw his name again. Now its become where every S&S show i watch i try to find Richard Pryor's name. I dont know maybe i was seeing things. Anayways great topic to bring up.
