Smile Question

I am just curious, did the Minnow leave port from Hawaii or from California. I would think Hawaii, but it feels more like California.

Here's a thought, I am sure EVERYBODY has noticed this, where the heck did they get all that stuff, if they only left for a three hour tour?

Hmmm.. GOOEY!!!

"Here's a thought, I am sure EVERYBODY has noticed this, where the heck did they get all that stuff, if they only left for a three hour tour?"

It all ties in to why these people where on the boat together inthe first place. Mr. Howell had been funding a top-secret experiment that would combine the arcane arts of Majik witht he greatest technology of the day. The Professor was the head of that experiment. So far, by combining magic and technology, they had discovered how to create "Pocket Dimensions", an infinite space that could fit inside the pocket of your average pair of slacks. Mr. Howell, being a wealthy and eccentric individual, had taken to carrying most of his money and possessions with him, as well as several wardrobes of clothing so he could give them as gifts to any young starlets who might catch his fancy. However, Mr. Howell's true goal was to find the secret of eternal life.

The Professor had been researching eternal life for quite some time, and knew that the only way to achieve immortality would be to make a blood sacrifice of a virgin to Posieden, lord of the seas. The sacrifice had to take place at sea, or it would not be effective. They hired a boat with a washed-up naval sea captain and a dimwitted first mate and planned to set sail and make Mr. and Mrs. Howel immortal! Unfortunately, as they started the dark ritual to bring forth Posieden, the Gods became angry and capsized the boad, running the ship aground on the shore of this uncharted dessert isle...

So the palyers are:

Mr. & Mrs. Howell: Millionaire Occultist striving for immortality, regardless of the cost.

The Professor: Evil Genius capable of combining dark majik and technology to creat strange and wonderful things.

MaryAnne: The Virgin Blood Sacrifice.

Ginger: Mr. Howell's mistress, one of the many starletts who had caught his eye over the years.

Skipper & Gilligan: Down-on-their-luck seamen, desperate to make money in any way possible.

--------------------

...I mean, C'mon... i thought *EVERYONE* knew that was the story behind the show!
