I like Wanted and Unexplained Death the most. I don't like The Unexplained or anything about ailen abduction because they aren't solvable. I like the suspense of a possible update.

Missing Persons, Unexplained Death, Wanted. Lost Loves sometimes works like a relief from the rest of darker, creepier stories. I do not like The Unexplained, I like mysteries that can be solved, stories that can be proved, and usually that doesnt happen with UFOs and ghosts. |

I think that all different types of segments play a role in the show. I enjoy the solvable cases, but the unexplained segments also add a great deal to the show. Even the lost loves play their part, as they take away some of the freakiness that began at the beginning.

I guess I'm in the minority, but I actually like the Lost Love cases. Some of these cases were just heartbreaking and it was such a good feeling...knowing family members were finally reunited after years of being apart. The missing person cases are my favorite but I never cared for any of the lost treasure or ghost episodes.

I like the unexplained deaths, wanteds, and missing persons. The lost love stories are usually boring. However, you shouldn't forget about the mysterious legends (the Huey Long story was fascinating).

The Wanted ones are the best. There always seems to be an interesting twist in all of them.

Some of those buried treasure segments can be VERY INTERESTING. Remember that one about the treasure buried underground in the mountains somewhere in the western US?
I remember the wife person who found the treasure was named Babe Moss or Babe something. Someone who was familiar with the treasure said if they found this treasure "it would be the biggest thing this country has ever seen" and the treasure in today's funds would be worth hundreds of millions of dollars. But one witness said the military came by and excavated all the treasure out thereby denying the Mosses their claim. They are still trying to find what happened to it but I don't think there has been an update and because LIfetime treats UM like crap I don't think they will ever bother to update it again. But usually my favorite segments are Missing adults, Unexplained murders/crimes, unexplained phenomena or beings like Bigfoot, etc. Do any of guys know of that treasure story I'm talking about above or do you have any further info on it? THANKS |

I like almost all the categories -- but I voted for Lost Loves, because I have always been fascinated by the cinematography used to show the flashbacks. And some of the acting has been very good ... the little girl who helped the soldiers who were hiding in her underground playhouse during WWII, for instance, the Indian lady who became a soldier against her father's wishes, and the two little black girls who grew up next door to each other and were friends, but didn't know they were actually sisters.
When I was clerking for a company that handled university rosters and I handled many addresses, I once processed the name of a lady who appeared on a Lost Loves segment of Unsolved Mysteries. It was her, all right. The unusual name and the address were consistent. If she had not already been located I'd have consulted my boss about confidentiality, but with his okay, I'd have turned it in to Keely Shaye. |
