So nice to get your good wishes. You know, LITB was my favorite when I was a kid and it was on Saturday nights. I think one time I washed my doll's clothes in the sink and used an ENTIRE box of detergent and hid the soaking wet clothes under my bed and my mother said I was just like Leave it to Beaver. I'm sure she meant the ep that was on this morning.

This really is a great board. I check it everytime I sign on right after I check my email. I think I love the great thoughts posted here about LITB. I love hearing what everyone has to say about almost everything. And I love not feeling so alone in my life long fascination with this show. Watching it now really connects me to my childhood. Looking at the way the girls in Beaver's class dress really remind me of how I dressed as a kid.

I wonder, was there ever an ep about Beaver's birthday? Or Wally's? Or Ward's?

I know for sure they had a Wally's bday ep. I want to say they did with Ward, too. Not sure if Beaver had a bday ep.

Happy Birthday, frani!

Oh of course, the ep where Wally turns 17 and he gets his driver's license. I forgot about that. So now we have June and Wally with Birthdays. None for Ward and the Beav, huh?

Beaver did have a birthday episode where he didn't get any presents, but instead got money (because he was a bit older), and didn't have a party. His parents advised him to put the money in his savings, and he does, except later on he gets another check from Uncle Billy, and this time he spends it on a toy or model or something, and he tells his parents that Gilbert gave it to him.

And I hope you had a wonderful brithday, Frani!

I was also thinking of the episode where Beaver bought the cheap paddle ball and baught himself the Bow and Arrow another example of Larry talking him into things.
