Question Tattoos?

Whos got one?? I really really want one, but seriously I am the BIGGEST baby. If I can avoid pain, believe me I do. Getting my ears pierced was painful enough for me LOl. I am also scared of needles (although getting blood taken doesnt bother me), and ugh duh.. theres only one way to get a tattoo. Anyways, Ive already gotten feedback from friends and online sites, but I want some more reassurance!! I already know what and where I want for the tattoo. I want it on my lower right side of my back. What I want is quite simple. I want a poodle. Not an ugly poodle.. the ones that used to be on poodle skirts, with the lil tie.. I want it to be a very light pink. As for size, I want it SMALL. You know that OK sign you do with your hand? Where you put your thumb and index finger together to look like an O? I want it to be a little smaller than that. Anyways.. my questions:

Do you have a tattoo? Or, do you know someone who does?
Where is it located?
How big is it?
How long did it take?
How bad did it hurt?
Does taking an aspirin help stop the pain?
How long does the pain last?

Crystal I'm a BIG WUSS like you I cant stand pain either so what I DO is every year when I go to California I go to one of those fake tatoo booths and get those AND the ones I get are the Henna ones so they last longer
anywho the one I HAD (that just now rubbed off like a few months ago) was a red rose on my Ankle

I'm not for that at all. My Grandfather got a small one 60 years ago and regrets it now. He said it was all bad feeling around his arm for a week.

Hmm...Crystal, I dont have one, cuz I'm only 15, and my parents would kinda kill me because it's also a little illegal (LOL) but I want one too. I'm such a wuss too, but theres a girl in one of my classes that got one and she said it didnt hurt too much, just afterwards its a little sensitive, and she had it below her jeans waistline, you know that space there? Well, it's about as small as you say you want one, so I'm thinking it cant be TOO awful.

BTW...if you wait three years, we can go together! lol

I don't have one because I don't really know if I want one, I don't like needles, and I'm so indecisive of what I'd want to get. But anyways, my friend has one. It's a frog and it's right above her boob. She got it a couple of years ago so I don't know if it hurt her or anything.

I'm not a tattoo fan. I've seen too many old people with saggy baggy skin with what looked like a nasty ink stain that used to be a tattoo. Besides, my uncle has a tattoo on his arm and he really regrets it, because it will be with him forever. So, it is totally up to you, but remember it is perminent. Just think ... Like when you are 80 and have grandkids are you going to be proud of your tattoo? Just a thought. Anyway, good luck with whatever you decide.

I do not have a tattoo but when a friend of mine got hers i went with her...

it is way too big if you ask me, it is of a red heart with blue flames around it....and she had it put right on the small of her back...the thing is like the size of my hand tho....uggggly...

i can't remember how long it took, too long tho, i started to get bored while i was waiting...

personaly i'm not sure how much it hurt to get the tattoo, all i know is that she 'bout passed out when it was all over with, she is a big loser tho, so don't let that scare you...

the tatto guy gave her something to put on it for a while so it wouldn't get inffected, she said that stuff kinda stung a little...

the thing really looks damn stupid

I kind of want one, but needles scare me.....hmm. I've had lots of fake ones though. In the summer, I'd always put a butterfly on my shoulder bc in A Walk to Remember, Shane gives Mandy Moore a butterfly tattoo on her shoulder. Pathetic i know, lol...I'm not that obsessed anymore. I mean I'm still obsessed but it's slowly fading........when Shane has a new movie it will hopefully come back to as much as I was obsessed in the summer. Omg....wow....that was so

Anyway, if I ever do get one, I want a small flower of some kind by my shoulder.

Like a dandylion??? Ya, I used to be obsessed with those lil jewels. Remember those? They still got them. I like them, but I want a real tattoo!! Amanda told me how it feels like, and she did its like taking your nail and dragging it on your skin. Everyone says it also feels like a bad sunburn. They say the worst part is the outline with the razor. Ouch!

My cousin got one in the summer. Two dolphins on the small of her back. She said she cried.

Anywho- I am actually afraid of needles- BUT I can tolerate anything. I have 8 ear piercings (2 of which I did myself) so that should tell you something.

I'd like a tattoo when I'm 18. I want a rose with thorns around it. Probably on my left shoulder

I got a henna tattoo of a butterfly on my shoulder this summer. It was really cool and lasted like a week and a half.
