Ughhh I have My Social Studies (which is History/Geography/Goverment Blah Blah Blah) Final Exam on the 26th and I have no clue how to study, I have gone through 16 years of my life just copying other peoples work and cheating. Now they are saying that I'm gonna get kicked out of school if I don't pass cause I won't have enough credits to Graduate so I really need to study....But I have no clue where to start or how to do it.
any pointers? thanks |

Hmm...well. I guess just setting aside some time to just read the book. You don't have to read every single word, but definitely memorize the bold words and headings.
And don't get distracted by internet, TV, etc. |

First off, go to a nice and quiet place. Don't turn on the tv, stereo-etc. Like Cathy said, read the parts with the bold words. If you've got time, make some flash cards. I did that for Senior Lit. and it helped me so much. Just put the word on the front and put the definition or a note or a date on the back.
Good luck. Oh yeah, don't rush yourself either. When you get that test in front of you, don't start worrying. If you start to worry about not passing or not finishing in time, it might make you do bad. Keep neutral feelings about the whole thing. You could also ask your parents to help you with the flash cards. They could call out the definition and you could say the word, and vice versa. |

I study before I go bed that way I can remember everything. I actually do better on tests if I study right before I go to bed.

Make yourself a havard-outline form study guide, some flash cards, and go from there. And like Jenny and Cathy said, read the bold words, and possibly remember chronologies, roles of certain people, etc. Good luck!
