Default In syndication, do all local station air the beginning and cable stations air tags?

i was wonder if this is the case with all local tv stations, do local tv stations in your area only air the beginning of a episode rather than the ending for sitcoms in syndication? I noticed the local stations in my area air the beginning of a episode but not the ending. Then cable networks I noticed air the ending tag scenes rather than the beginning of a episode such as TBS, and N@N. So what part of the episode do local stations in your area cut out-the beginning or ending?

Well, I guess it depends on the show. Not all shows have tags to begin with. But like for The Jeffersons, cable usually cuts a portion from the beginning and usually the tag too. That series didn't have a beginning tag. While in syndication, they usually cut a little throughout and the tag.

For The Brady Bunch, the cutting always took place throughout always leaving part or all of the beginning and ending tag, for both cable and syndication.

The Golden Girls had no tags to begin with, so Lifetime and syndication cut throughout.

It really depends on how the show is constructed.

I never knew Good Times had a tag until the year of 2002. This was my first time seeing Good Times since the early 90's on my local TV station and then when i started watching the show on TBS, i noticed that the local station never showed the tags. So now that i recorded all the Good Times episodes of TBS, My local UPN station started airing GT on jan 2 and i can compare both versions and see that UPN cuts out the tag, and TBS cuts out the beginning which basically gives me a uncut episode.
