Million Dollar Ripoff - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Hi out there!! I am new to this board, but have been reading with great interest. Does anyone out there have a copy of the made for TV movie "The Million Dollar Ripoff"? There was SOMEONE here who claimed to have it....then disappeared (I think). I`ve been hoping to find this for years and would gladly pay for a copy. Or trade....I have different rare TV movies with Jack Albertson, including one with Lawrence Hilton Jacobs of "Welcome Back Kotter". I am also a collector of Scatman Crothers` rare records.

welcome scott...and good luck on your search...if you find it anywhere, you mite find it here. I have seen alot of people lookin for that tho and not one copy as of yet. There are other things out there. I am lookin for copies of the show myself if you hear of any for sale. again, welcome.

I would sure love to have a copy too!

Also I'd read on here sometime back where someone said that Freddie cried in that movie. Does anyone know what happened there & have more info on him crying in the movie & all the details on it? I'd love to have the info for my site. Thanks!

Cheryl, I do not want to spoil the movie for anyone, but he does cry in it and it will have you in tears also. If you want to e-mail me, I will tell you about the scene, but be sure you won't mind knowing before you see the entire movie.

I would love to tell you about this powerful scene!

Gosh, I envy you!

Ive never seen that movie at all, I so want to..there has to be a copy somewhere...If I get a hold of one I will be happy to tape it for all the Freddie fans!

Hi Scott - Freddie didn't like the movie after it was made and the critics panned it.

I'll have to e-mail ya to find out cuz I am dying to know & I'd lvoe to share the info on my site. At the rate things are going with the movie being so hard to find, I'll probably never get to see it. That's sad cuz he deserves to be on tv...
