Hey everyone! I'm glad to see that it's picked up in here.Maybe the show airing on TVland did the trick of bringing back memories of Freddie and the sitcom itself.
By the way I still have an extra copy of "The Freddie Prinze Story".I was on here awhile back trying to see if anyone would want it but,No one was hardly posting here at that time. So,If anyone in here doesn't own the Freddie Prinze biography book as told by his mother,I would like to get in contact with you. Thanks Alot!! Welcome back! Yep, the TVLAND re-runs brought out alot of folks-- old fans, new fans & folks like me who like the show back then but weren't into Freddie back then & thru the re-runs have now gotten into Freddie. More sites have sprung up on him & CATM. THis seems to be the most active of all the CATM/Freddie message boards. When I first got on here in Feb or March 2001 It wasn't as active as now.
The book is a good read & a good cry too... |

Welcome Back!!! Yes, we are a faithful and dedicated group. We are glad that you returned.
That is wonderful of you to make a copy of the book available. I am certain that one of us from the Board will contact you soon. It is a great book and goes a long way in helping one to know Freddie better. I treasure my copy and know that your offer will make someone extremely happy. FREDDIE FOREVER!! |

Yes,Reading the book does make you want to cry. It's so sad to read about all of things he was going through that contributed more and more to his hurt and pain.Whenever I reach the end of the book,It just makes me want to go back to the beginning to the times when he was happy and enjoying life. I read somewhere online that after he died,The way he died became somewhat of a trend at that time. Some of his many fans back then committed suicide because they were unable to deal with the fact that he was gone. It's so sad. |

I had heard yrs ago & forgot about it until I read about it recently on here that a little 12 yr old girl was so upset after he died & hurt over his death that she killed herself too. So sad. The book is soooo sad. It'll have ya grabbing hankys... I bet it was hard for his mom to write that bless her heart... I found the book on Bibiofind for $12. I've seen it go for as high as $150. Someone on here paid $150 for it. Wow! <g> God Bless you Freddie...

Thanks so much for your response... I have emailed you again and will send my address... I can't thank you enuf... I don't have much of my teenage clippings left... I do have a book that included a bunch of people who were too young to die... Freddie was in there.. I have to locate it again at my moms house in the attic but when I do, I will see if I can find a copy place to scan the pictures so I can send them to everyone. Thanks again...check email soon.
