Default Osbournes to Cleavers

I was reading and article in a magazine, i forget which one, but they were talking about how "Sharon is a big mouth who says it like it is, she's certainly no june cleaver, but she is a bit ordained when kelly drinks or jack does drugs." I thoguht it was funny to compare june to sharon but here's some more, "The not-so Cleaver family puts the dys (spelled dis-) in dysfunctional and with all of the f---ing bleeps, we know they are" it was funny... anyways, sorry for those of you who don't like the osbournes, i love them, and i just love how they are so unlike the cleavers and think it's funny that the mag wanted to compare them in a way!

I love the Osbournes, too. Have you ever noticed that the opening of the show is similar to LITB? I mean in the end they say And Ozzy Osbourne as "The Dad", just like how they say And Jerry Mathers as "the Beaver", well, but that's about the ONLY similarity between the show!!

yes, but the differences are soooo atonishing they are almost so close... it's kind of like a cleaver family, but with today's problems... although, i think that if they had a leave it to beaver of today, june and ward would be the same from the 50's and the kids would be the ones who were different... well, now that we have the generation gap as our parents, i guess that they wouldn't be the same, the sad thing is... i think that the osbournes is how a LOT of "functional" families are... and that's why i love it so much, you can tell the to *beep* off and not get slapped! haha!

The Osbournes seem like a pretty good family to me. They certainly don't have a problem with communication, which is a problem with lots of households that have teenagers.

Sorry, but I find Ozzy incredibly disgusting. You must have heard how he bit the heads off of pigeons. Also, I was wathcing something on VH1 and Tommy Lee was talking about episodes where Ozzy was so disusting in his behavior (smearing his own feces on a hotel wall) that even Tommy Lee was disgusted. It's impossible for me to watch their show because of Ozzy. He's just too "out there."

I like the Osbournes- first season only. The show jumped the shark with the second season.

I still record the Osbournes for my mom, but even she admits the show has went downhill.
