Default Figure this out...(something to do finally! lol)

i got probably the weirdest and most disturbing emails from my website today lol

u know about backmasking? the idea that some artists record something backwards in their songs or somethin like that? well this guy claims its in the Cheers theme! he emailed me asking what I thought the words he couldnt figure out were.

i dont have any software or recorders that can play a song backwards, so im hoping someone here does cuz I want to know if this is even close, or even true.

anyway, its something to do! haha
heres what he thinks Where Everybody Knows Your Name, reversed, is (ive edited it a little so his notes at the end are readable. they were all in one big runon sentance):

Me and *Maui's*(1) war near'ever *pa'air gongonomal*
*Ne-ay*(2) see a *lawve*(3) movie
Born *periogonomal-e*

Me and *Maui's* war near'ever *pa'air where we even ommal*
*Ne-ay* see a *onrosal vushka*
He said we can't *even-al*

Yeah, *ge'tsnapshay* war and that
Yeah, no war is all and better that
Oh, good old *weeshmat mus*(4)

Yeah, would a *yishpial*(4) listen to
A little'boy in a *wush*(5)
Zero *wore yurimf*(6) here when he is
*Harkling*(7) at their faces
In this world won the air when we'(8) in

*The entire thing reminds me of Russia or some poor area in Europe during a world war
1. Maui as in Hawaii? who owned Hawaii before US? Is 'Me' like "us"="US"="United States"?
2. Never? Not enough syllables or sounds
3. Law or love?
4. Both remind one of a young 'rascal-type' boy
5. wash? hush?
6. Some kind of money?
7. Isn't 'harking' mean 'laughing at'? Different by just one syllable
8. we' = we're

any ideas, anybody? can anybody listen to it??
Doug
p.s. the weirdest thing is my account is still frozen...

That is interesting, sadly I don't have any type of recorders or software that can play a song backwards. Personally, I don't think that there were meant to be any secret messages in the theme song, but if there are its cool that someone noticed.

BTW, did you know that Freewebs allows only 50 files per account, unless you sign up for the premium service. Could that be a reason why your account is still frozen.

I think it's about a young chinese boy in his quest to buy a new jacket but has to kill his grandfather in order to enherit his fortune. I'm guessing.

o yea sorry lol
i should have said anything in *---------* are parts he didnt know what they were saying, if anything
so NORM, they arent chinese words haha...i think

briandamage...someone emailed me w/ these "lyrics" claiming that they are the Cheers theme played backwards. he asked me if I knew anymore of the words that he couldn't figure out (stuff in the *stars*). its kinda hard, since he didnt send a recording of the theme backwards and i dunno how to listen to it backwards.

ive found a link on "backmasking," or the rumored recording of another sound track backwards in recorded songs:

http://www.triplo.com/ev/reversal/

i didnt read all of it but it kinda says that it may be there and it may not be there.

the "lyrics" are in the first post
