Its supposed to be the life of Freddie Prinze. In my opinion it portrays him as a self centered woman chasing jerk.when the character died I didnt shed one tear.It made me wanna vomit. They didnt show no good side to him I dont feel in the least.Just a selfish itiot that liked to play with guns and peoples heads.Freddie though I never had the pleasure of meeting him, according to his mothers book had a very gentle loving side.Thats the way everyone should remember him, like his mama wrote about.I have the movie if ya want I will send you a copy.email me at LADYLOVESFREDDIE@AOL.com Its good to see it and form your own opinion.

I agree with ya! His mothers book should've been made into a movie. I read where his mom didn't like this movie cuz it portrayed a different Freddie than she knew & portrayed him so bad. I cried my eyes out & was grabbing hankys when he died at the end but not cuz of the jerk they made him out to be but cuz it showed him dying & it makes me sad his dying. I couldn't bear to see him die.
I hated how they made him out to be such a jerk. They never even showed him how sweet he was with Jr. They showed him as if he never had time for the baby which couldn't be true as I've seen some sweet pics of him & the baby.Next time portray the real sweet Freddie. I know he may have had his bad times but he couldn't be that bad. His mothers book shows how he really was. Bless his heart... [This message has been edited by Cheryl Harrell (edited 11-30-2001).] |

well, unfortunagely I have already bid on the movie on EBAY but I would like to have it anyway....but thanks for the offer to copy it for me. It would be nice if they had better portrayed Freddie, but i am sure they figured a movie about nice guy would not sell... anyway, we know he wasnt that way. I just wanna collect anything I can on him. I've dug up some of my old pictures and articless and stuff, and I would like to collect more.

I guess the producers of that movie figured Freddie was no longer around to defend himself, and negative sensationalism spells more money, so they went for it! It makes me sick!
I have never seen it, but I'm curious to, though.......
