Default The Pittsburgh Steelers got screwed

The Pittsburgh Steelers got screwed in there playoff game against the Tennesse very lucky Titans. The Tennesee Titans are very overrated team and won't make it past next week. My basement is a mess after this game. Referee Ron Blum better be looking for a new job next year because he certinly won't be an NFL official. Tennesee is nothing without Steve McNair.now I will say he is a good qb,but what else does the team have. I hate the titans coach jeff fisher he is an overated coach. There now I got that off my chest I feel much better than I did abput 30 minutes ago. On a side note I once kicked a hole in mywall during a Nebraska game which NU did win,but I was so upset about a call. I don't quite get that angry now but this game just ticked me off.

well, im a steeler fan also i didnt agree with that running into the kicker call i think it was lame. but the bottom line is the defense didnt play well enough to win as theyve proved all year. they just had too many key players injured. they had a good season next year it will be even better!

Well that's not good! Glad to hear you don't get quite as upset anymore. You know some scientists in Europe studied the heart attack and stroke rates following soccer matches and found a correlation between people who got excited over the games and having medical problems....

Anyhoo....yes, I was disappointed that Pittsburgh didn't win too. I'm not sure how that penalty of roughing the kicker goes, but it looks to me like he just couldn't stop his momentum, not that he purposely rough him up. I don't know if that would make any difference though anyway. Pittsburgh is a better team with better players, IMO, and I think if this was college-rules ball where the Steelers got a touch, they probably would have won.

The Steelers coach was livid after that call. I haven't seen the game and the play completely, so I can't make a judgement there but you should have seen him yelling at the officials.

I know the Coach Cowher was very upset, I would be very upset also if I was the coach. Referee Ron Blum should be fired IMO. As far as the roughing the kicker goes at that point in the game they should have let them play the game, then what really ticked me off is when the referee didn't give the steelers the timeout before Joe nedney made the game winning field goal. I think the steelers will be back next year and I hope its a Steelers vs Vikings superbowl next year!

You are right Bootsy whoosh That was not good and my parents weren't that pleased either. That game was about 3 years ago and when I was mad at that call I got all red and started shaking although I was too mad to think about that, I think I'm ok when I watch games with my friends, but when I watched games by myself I could get really really mad, but now that I know what can happen to me if I get really upset and that a game is just a game I don't quite get as upset, although I do get upset sometime its just part of being a fan.

The worst part of it all to you Steeler fans was that the field goal kicker for Tennesse admitted he was acting when the guy from the steelers ran into him. what a shame-LOL

Yes, the Steelers were ripped off. They weren't playing well in the first place, but they could have had another chance.

Shove it, Solomon.

Yes, that pissed me off. Sure it was a good decision by him to get the penalty after he made such a crappy kick (and the fireworks had already been set off LOL) but when you get 3 shots you should be able to make one of them.

I'll give credit where credit is due, the Steelers really impressed me. I thought they'd come out totally flat after their comeback win against the Browns. They put on one heck of a game against the Titans.

being a huge steeler fan i have to say im totally embarassed by the actions of bill cowher and his cry baby antics on the field. his defense sucked did not get the job done and imo coached a pi$$ poor game. my lable for him and his teacher marty shottenheimer they will get you to the play-offs but they cant win the big one. with as much talent as the steelers have a coach such as parcell, gruden, reid etc would surely make the diff.

Bill Cowher may not be able to win the big one, but there's no coach available right now who's any better.
