Default Last Call with Ted Danson

Last night (or this morning, whichever) Ted Danson was featured on Last Call with Carson Daly. Many of the shows I've seen Ted on recently haven't focus so much on Cheers, but Carson did, and when he asked Ted about it, he replied that Cheers is still continuing to open doors for him, and he spoke about how grateful he is to the show. IT was so great to hear these comments, knowing how much Cheers means to him. I also think its funny how he says his wife, Mary, likes to watch old Cheers episodes with him before they go to bed, and he thinks its weird to see himself. It's good to know that even though he escaped the "Sam Malone" typecast, Cheers is still a big part of his life.

Thats good to hear that he still likes Cheers, and that he admits it was a big part of his life. I wonder if this means that he'll participate in a reunion, if there is one in the near future.

That is so cool that he still appreciates everything that has ever happened to him. I hate it when actors just think they are the **** and they have grown so much and forgotten all the little things. Like Gary Coleman. In an interview someone asked him a question about Different Strokes, and he said "I'm much bigger than that now, why even talk about it". Last i heard he was a security guard at paramount studios. Different Strokes made him. And it's cool to know that Ted is not like that. Yeah Danson!

Some actors can get really arrogant, as NORM mentioned Gary Coleman. And some of them feel that the thing that made them was a bad experience. Even though Danson has had further success, he is still true to his roots. Especially in recent interviews, it seems as though people don't bring up Cheers, and focus more on Becker or whatever. I liked just hearing him talk about Cheers

That may have been a repeat because I saw it a month ago, or it sounds just like the one I saw. It was nice hearing him talk about Cheers, and cute when he said that his wife likes watching the show.
Cheers certainly put Ted Danson on the map, yet he was fortunate that it didn't typecast him. He was amazing in that role.

Kirstie Alley seems to fall into that category. She's specified several times that she doesn't want to ever revive the Rebecca character.

I guess she'd rather be famous for her Pier One ads. I've never seen such creative camouflaging going on to cover her weight gain in those commercials.
She's in kimonos, behind plants, etc.
I say, big deal, you gained weight and don't be ashamed. She's still a beautiful woman.

I agree, she seems so vain about it. That just means that there's more to love about her.
