Default Question about the top of John Amos head

I was paying close attention to the top of James head in one of the episodes today and i wanted to know was that his real receding head line or was it fixed up that way so that he would look more in Florida's age bracket? To me it looked a little fake so that why i was wondering.

I believe John Amos hair line was really receding. In other shows he appeared in, and in the movie "Let's Do It Again", he was shown with a full head of hair. Now, he's totally bald.

Okay you answered my question because if he had a full head of hair in the movie Let's Do It Again which was in 1975 like Good Times, that let'sme know that his receding hair line was fake on Good Times.

Actually, I was going along the lines of the fact that his hair on "Let's Do it Again" was what was fake. Maybe John Amos had a receding hairline back then. It's possible. My hairline receded when I was 22 going on 23. I guess all they did to John Amos was make it a little grayer. The character James was in his early 40's, but John Amos was only in his early to mid 30's.

I don't think it was fake at all. I believe he was going bald back then.
