Default Charly [aka Flowers for Algernon]

Has anyone seen this movie? We read part of Flowers for Algernon in school. OMG I loved it. It was pretty sad though.....I wanna see the movie. So...if you have seen this movie please tell me how it is!

I've read the book but I haven't seen the movie. I'd like too though. Flowers for Algernon was a great book.

I did both of those also and I thought both the movie and book were great. I agree they were both sad.

I saw the movie and read the book in middle school but don't remember much about it.

Ditto. It took me an hour to finish the last few pages because I couldn't read through all my tears. It's a sad book. It's a terrific book.

Go Ask Alice is another good book. I seen bits and pieces of the movie in Psychology class and it was a good enough movie that it made me want to read the book.

No...but I've seen a production done of "Charlie and Algernon" and felt it was a mess.

We read the short version in English and watched a Flowers for Algernon movie that aired on CBS. The movie was ok, I mean anything is better than doing school work. I'd much rather seen the older movie, "Charly" though.
