Question Did you know?

Did you know...

1. Patricia Heaton was once a successful foot model.

2. Ray Ramano was a contestant on Star Search.

3. The Twins Michael and Jeffrey are really triplets.(They have a sister.)

4. Brad Garrett can do a dead on impersonation of Rodney Dangerfield.

Yup, I know all of those. Except, the twins aren't triplets. The twins that were in the pilot were triplets, but not the regular ones we're used to seeing.

Did you know:

Fred Stoller (who plays Cousin Gerard) competed against Brad Garrett on Star Search?

Patricia Heaton teaches Sunday school?

Monica Horan (Amy) is the wife of the show's executive producer, Phil Rosenthal?

John Lennon was the best man at Peter Boyle's wedding?

Did you also know that Peter Boyle's father, Pete Boyle, hosted a local kid's show in Philadelphia in the 1950s/early 1960s?

I know about this because I remember watching his show as a kid growing up in Philly (yes, I'm that old!).

The show was called "Pete's Gang", and featured cartoons (Crusader Rabbit was one I remember) and "The Little Rascals" film shorts. It was your typical local kiddie show that was popular in most American cities back in those days.

1. The kids are siblings in real life.

2. Brad Garrett's full name is Brad Gerstenfeld or something like that, and he's Jewish. He is 6 feet and eight inches tall.

3. When Brad Garrett was playing Jackie Gleason, his height caused a big problem. Special measures had to be taken to make him appear smaller, like having the other actors wear platform shoes and designing the furniture so it was larger than average.

All the kids? I know the twins are because well, they're twins. However, if you mean Ally is really related to the twins, I did not know that.

Yup, the twins are played by Sawyer and Sullivan Sweetin, the younger brothers of Madylin Sweetin.

I've always wondered why the twins names are never in the opening credits, but the girl is. They all have about the same amount of air time.

I think Ally gets a little more air time than the twins, but the twins should get in the opening credits.

Brad can do alot of impressions. His Cosby is really good.
Patrica came to CA to be an actress at 32 which is old and no agent. Just goes to show you what perseverance and determination will do. Her and her husband were poor before Raymond and she had already done several shows that didn't make it.
