Default Mr. Bean animated series?

I apologize if I put this on the wrong board instead of putting it in the Britcom section, but I have a question about the Bean animated series. Does anybody know what date this show will start airing on? Also, does anybody know if it will show in America? Thanks for the info.

I have never heard of a "Mr. Bean" animated series.

Nobody tells me anything!

If you find anything out, please post it Jenny.

There's info for it at epguidesn and Imdb.

I loved the plain series. It's just so cool that a show can be so funny and the main character hardly says one word.

Oh yeah, I was browsing a website about the animated cartoon last night. It's a UK page, though.

Here's the link: http://www.mrbean.co.uk/frameset.htm

I remember seeing an episode when it was first shown here in December 2001, and I thought it wasn't very funny but the animation worked quite well and it was the same writers as the live action series.

That's too bad. I read that episode guide on the above link and I thought the episodes sounded pretty funny. Descriptions on an ep guide can be very misleading, especially since I've never seen the cartoon before.

I watched some of the Bean episodes today. I bought this box set a few years ago, has 4 videos in it. It has 2 eps per video. I've never laughed so hard before in my life watching the eps in the set.

I can tell you that Canada airs this show on CBC every Friday. I like it even better than the live action show (which I love). The kids love it even more that I do. Every morning my 4 year old asks what day it is and loves it when I say "Friday". She runs around the house saying "We get to watch Mr. Bean tonight." My 6 and 11 year old also love it. Keeps us rolling the whole show.

This is coming to the US around April. It will be on PBS stations. They will show both the live action and animated series. There isn't an exact date to start yet.

This was shown in a widescreen format in the UK. In Canada they are showing it in full frame. The U.S. will show it in the same manner as Canada.

The DVD set of the animated series is coming in September. The live action DVD set in April.

Thats all the info I have for now.

Wow, you did supply a lot of info. It's coming to the US in April on PBS? Well, I hope GPTV shows it. They use to show the live action show, but dropped it a few years ago. I hope they show it over here. Thanks for all the info.
