Talking TV Land Retromercials

TV Land has aired then since they launched. Has anyone noticed that they are now aired like 4x a day? Before they were on all the time. Does anyone know any current retromercials from the 70s, 80s, and 90s on there or do you know any from the particular decade that should be Retromercials?

The I Love NY one is pretty good. It's a shame they censor the 800 number. Who is the blonde lady in that commercial?

I love those! I saw the one with the woman and the tiger selling hair stuff!

I think there is more than one for I Love NY. One of them has a lot of stars in it from Broadway, people like Beverly Sills (opera), the Rockettes, and others that I can't think of at the moment.

The lady with the tiger is Barbara Feldon, "99" on Get Smart.

I thought it sounded like her, but I wasn't 100% sure if it was Barbara.

Question

I wonder if "Where's The Beef?" has showed up yet...

Does anyone remember a Sure Deodorant commercial in which there was a young guy that was about 27 or 28 years old and he was sitting in church? I think I first saw it around 1991 or 1992..

I haven't seen those commercials in ages. I'd love to see them again.

I want TVland. Though, when I was in Maryland, I remember seeing a connect four and BattleShip one. Those were great.

Jenny,
Since you don't have TV Land, I just want to tell you that a lot of people here at the message boards don't have it. But I know how you feel..

On the I Love New York ones they block out the number, well because it's not a number anymore but still... yeah I like the retromercials my favorite one so far is for 'Jiffy Pop'.

I believe it's "The Magic Treat".

Anyways, I have always enjoyed the retromercials, but usually I only see them aired during late in the evening or early in the morning, they aren't played that often during thed day. I have many favorites, too many to name them all, LOL.

I remember awhile ago, during commercial breaks they aired only network promos and retromericals, it's a shame they aren't doing the same thing, today. All they can today is fit in commercials and cut their shows up.

I remember seeing that Connect Four one with the brother and sister when I was a kid. That originally aired in the early 80's I believe.
