My favorite was Robert Downey Jr's character, Larry Paul. He and Ally had great chemistry together, and I thought Ally had finally found true love. I'm a huge fan of his anyway, so it was a thrill for me to have him on one of my favorite shows.
It's a shame that Robert got into trouble and had to leave the show as I think he gave it the jumpstart it needed. I heard recently that he's doing great and even had his probation cut short. Before Larry joined the cast and before Billy went nuts with the blonde hair and the Robert Palmer-ish girls trailing him, I used to root for Ally and Billy to get back together. They had such a rich history together, right down to smelling each other's butts as kids. Jon Bon Jovi did nothing for me. I enjoy his singing, but I think his acting is wooden, so as for Victor, I wasn't cheering for them to get together. I also used to hope that Ally and John Cage would get together, but they were really just friends who truly understood each other. I was still hoping that they wind up together in the end though. |

Robert Downey Jr's character did bring the interest back into the show. I'd say it's a tie between his character and Billy.

Larry Paul. Hands Down. I hope they do a reunion episode and end it the right way.
