Default Laura San Giacamo

This woman is so beautiful. Is she mexican or puerto rican? She played in the movies Sex, Lies, & Videotape & she played in a movie with Tom Selleck, i forgot the name of it. She plays on that corny tv show with David Spade. How old is she now & what other movies has she played in?

The best source for all the answers to your questions is the Internet Movie Database. I have said this once but I can say it again. The IMDB is arguably the best source for information on movies, TV series, miniseries, and even video games.

I've told you before as well to check IMDB for all of these questions you have.

She is racktastic though.

Most of us know that we can access information about a celebrity on IMDB. However, it creates dialogue on the boards if people answer each other's questions.
If someone doesn't want to answer, that's their choice, but lots of people pose questions to stimulate a discussion.
I'm tired of being told to look it up on IMDB.

Lightbulb Posting Psychology 101

Thanks BJL. I do agree that it gets annoying when someone continuously asks questions. I won’t mention any names, but we know who they are. That’s abusing the system, and that’s when we feel like we’re just doing someone’s research for them.
Often times, I’m posting and drawing a blank, yet I’m certain I could find the answer. Instead, I post something along the lines of, “What’s his name on that XYZ show?”. Another poster, in return, will write, “Oh, that’s John Doe. I also loved him in the movie XYZ.” Someone else may comment on that movie. It keeps the ball moving, and as moderators, that’s what we want. It’s a ripple effect in a sense.
For example, I was posting on the Favorite Director thread but drew a blank on two names…could only remember the names of the movies they directed. I could have easily looked it up, but I didn’t on purpose because I know how one post builds off another. Brian Damage jumped in with the correct names mentioning that one of them also directed Scarface. I plan on replying back about that movie.
Truth be told, all of us can look up everything about anything, but I think Sitcoms Online is for the exchange of thoughts and ideas and filling in the blanks for each other.

You made an excellent point, Janice. Maybe if we did that on a couple of boards that hardly get any posts at all, maybe we could get those boards active. Yep, you made an excellent point.

Janice,

I only told this person to look on IMDB ONCE before and AFTER I had answered like 5 posts of his- in a row.

If you ever see some of my posts, I always try to help people out.
With movies, song lyrics, release dates, names and such. I could site about a dozen examples offhand.

I have told people to look on IMDB a few times, but always when they wanted as much information on something AND I provide a direct link to the question AFTER I give the answer.

I like helping people out, and they usually thank me very kindly.

That's true. You're always very helpful. I remember you helped me on the Coach board with questions regarding Bill Fagerbakke, and I thanked you kindly too.

Oh yeah!
That was you?

Funny, I remember when I was answering your post Bill's last name "Fagerbakke" showed up with stars (**) in front because, I guess, part of his name can be considered inappropriate. So I spaced it out to keep all the letters in there. Remember that?

Strange. It didn't do it now

Laura did play in Pretty Woman, i forgot about her in that. I didn't like Julia Roberts character at first cause she didn't like to kiss Richard Gere on the mouth. I don't like women who don't like to french kiss. I've dealt with 3 women before who don't like to kiss on the mouth & that's weird to me.

I believe you're correct. I also vaguely remember her in another movie where she played an evil sister who had an affair on her husband. I forget the name.
