Was it Anna who posted about has anyone seen a Freddie look alike, this may be similar.
has anyone heard any Elvis type stories
(like he faked his death)
or any stories of Freddie after death sitings,or that he shows up or "haunts" his old hang outs?

For a celebrity that was so loved as Freddie was, and died so young, there's bound to be some stories and rumours that got published, but I've never heard of or read any. Sometimes I do some wishful thinking and imagine that he did fake his death and he is living happily on some remote tropical island......

Someone posted on here they had read somewhere he was alive & on a remote island. Wish it were true.

Then there was the incident I wrote about in here where I was talking to my hubby about Freddie one AM after watching that days CATM episode & said it wa a shame how Freddie had died & I heard 2 knocks on the wall of my house. I later went back to bed & dreamed about Freddie & in the dream he appeared to me & told me he was in heaven & allright... Weird...

I have felt his presence many times while writing about him--as if he is guiding me in what to write--and also when I am talking about him to someone on Yahoo Messenger. Plus one night when I couldn't sleep I felt him standing by my bed, stroking my left arm (I sleep on my right side) and saying, "It's alright, let go and go to sleep."

I live in the reality that he is gone..... Elvis is also dead. Sure there may be lookalikes but, there's only (1) of the real person.

Peko, I have also heard that one about Freddie's ghost grives Tony out of show business. I think it was probably more like Tony's demons...as far as the guilt he felt toward Freddie's death that drove him out of show business. I remembering seeing in the Behind The Music special of Tony that he had a nervous breakdown on stage due to the drugs and Freddie's death. He supposedly rambled on in front of an audience about Freddie and about the drug use. I think Tony's demons haunted him more than Freddie did. As far as wondering if Freddie's spirit still walks...I think that when someone dies a violent death their soul is never really at peace. They leave behind unfinished business. I wonder if Freddie still walks in the house that he and Kathy shared. This is where his unfinished business lies.

I agree with you, Tony Orlando's demons are the problem. I still don't like the dramatics that he played out. It still seems that he tried to overshadow Freddie's death with his own problems, drawing more attention to himself. It still goes back to being all about Tony. Know what I mean? Freddie was not self centered like him. I don't dislike Tony Orlando, but he has this dramatics thing, Freddie was more real and down to earth. I feel bad for Tony also, he had some real problems, but he should have helped Freddie, just like he got himself help.

You nailed it Peko!!! 100%. Friends take care of each other. If they felt such a kinship with each other to share drugs then they should have leaned on each other to get clean together. I'm sure his demons are stemmed from guilt.

To Cheryl and MariposaLKB, I believe you about these experiences and think it is great. I believe that people are never really gone. The love in our hearts keeps them alive and all parties concerned - connected.

I have to agree with ya'll about Tony Orlando. At least he got help. Too bad he could've gotten Freddie help...

I've only shared this with a very few people but since this thread got started, I have contemplated sharing my story here. I know everyone on this board wishes things could have happened differently on that fateful night in January 1977. Did you ever wonder that if Freddie could communicate with us he would also tell us he wished it could have worked out differently? Many people have speculated that the events of that night were a cry for help. Well gang, here is my take on that, and yes this is a true ghost story. I was watching my tape of the E! True Hollywood Story that I was dubbing 4 times one weekend for some friends here on this board. Needless to say, Freddie's story was engrained in my subconscious after the 4th viewing. Well, I had been contemplating writing fan fiction for a while, but I had all of these other ideas for stories. Writing a 'what if it could have been different' story was not one of them. A few days later, I was sitting at my computer, thinking which story I wanted to start first, when this strong desire to write the story that has become "Salvation" hit me. I started to get a general outline and that is all, but each and every time I sat down at the computer, detailed ideas started to come to me that I would have never thought of. I really believe it was Freddie writing this story through me, like I'm a ghost writer for a ghost! You have to understand something about me to realize how improbably this is to have happen to me. I am a devout Catholic and I teach Science. I am normally a logical person, so this is something I can not explain, but I know is true. One night I was pondering where this story came from and I got a real sense that Freddie was trying to tell me that he wanted things to have been different. He is very sad he did what he did and wishes someone could have stopped him. This is his way of telling his fans that he is sorry and he would have liked to have gotten help. Why he picked me to convey that message to you all and why he used this story as his means of that conveyance, I could not tell you. You are probably thinking by now that I am either 1) crazy and need to see a shrink myself, 2) making all of this up, or 3) have felt something similar and believe me. I truly hope it is the third possibility. I have felt a kindred spirit here among the friends and fans of Freddie Prinze. That is why I have been brave and shared this with you all. Freddie is smiling that big smile of his on all of us cause I have seen it each and every time I sit at my computer talking and sharing with you all as well as when I was writing my story! The story was only the first encounter with the sweet spirit of this man! I could tell you of others, but this post has gotten long enough. Thank you, Freddie, for allowing me to share your story with your fans and thank you all for listening to him!

Well Luckymama - I came to this board because I missed Freddie. Over the years something inside of me wondered about him. I wanted to find out what really happened? As a mother, with 3 children and a great husband. Something inside was gnawing at me. As you all remember there were really no sites of Freddie Sr. only on Jr. I've have heard Freddie's voice waking me up when it was 5:00 AM in the morning and I had to tape an episode. He said "Wake up so you can tape the episode"! At 5:00 AM It's hard for me to wake up. I believe he really knows about the love we have for him. May it never die!!!
