I was watching the "Bobby the Chin-up King" ep tonight, and at the very beginning he runs up to the sliding glass door, opens the "screen," goes through to the kitchen, and shuts it behind him.
But....after he goes through and shuts it, the drapes drift back THROUGH the "screen door!" I cannot believe they didn't catch that in post production because it's so obvious.I understand why they do not have glass in the door (it would reflect too much) but why didn't they have screen material? It's pretty see-through, and it does not reflect. I cannot believe Robert Reed, with his perfectionism, didn't fix this! |

From what I've read, Reed seemed to be more concerned with script/character inconsistencies, rather than production ones. That said, somebody should have caught this one!

There were NO WINDOWS. The weirdest one was where the kids are all looking from the outside in, with their hands cupped to the window. It looks so fake.
This is not something Robert Reed would have been able to notice. But it was a mistake. Anyone on the show would have wanted it redone correctly (not just Robert Reed), but they probably didn't catch it until it was too late to reshoot. If they caught it at all. |

Watch "Greg's Triangle."
When Jennifer and he are on the beach they order from that food stand: Two hotdogs A double order of fries Two orange drinks. But when Greg gives the man his money, he doesn't pick up the drinks, and the fries are never even on the counter. Jack |

Here's another example of the screen door/slider blooper.
In this scene from "My Fair Opponent", Jan's arms are in "front" of Cindy, even though they're both supposed to both be pressed up and peeking out of a screen door/slider. |

I know Sam puts his hand through the screen in one episode as he is going to close the sliding door- I think it's in "Alice's September Song."
