Old tabloid articles from 90's concerning two of Facts of Life girls! - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Yup, in the past, there were tabloid scandalls that talked about Mindy Cohn and Kim Fields both. I think one talked about Kim Fields getting arrested in L.A. for almost instigating a race riot, and Mindy Cohn's scandall involving eating too much food and almost causing an L.A. all you can eat buffet to go out of business.

Anyone here ever heard about these past tabloids from the 90's concernink these two former Facts of Life actresses?

You actually believe the tabloids? I love reading the tabloids, but most of that stuff is so untrue. The two above stories you mentioned sound fake. Either you did read them in the tabloids or you are trying to stir up trouble. Don't mean to accuse you of starting something if you aren't trying to start something. Really, tabloids are mostly fake. You think Clinton really met an alien? Remember those tabloids that had him shaking hands with an alien?

Boy those were the days. You knew the tabloids were full of it during those days, now all they do is center attention on about 3 or 4 celebs.

I did hear something about Kim Fields being arrested for something similar to that. They were talking about it on her "Intimate Portrait" on Lifetime.

Yup, Kim was arrested. But the stuff on Mindy Cohn is complete bull*****.

I don't even GLANCE at the tabloids most of the time...and if I do it's to make fun of some crap that someone actually got paid to write.

I'm so surprised that people believe those, I mean...okay...an all you can eat buffet? ONE person cannot eat so much that it causes them to go out of business...especially not someone Mindy's size..I mean...you'd really have to require A LOT of food to do that...and Mindy's not FAT....granted she's not a size 0, but...who is?

Unfortunately, in the real world if you aren't a size 2 you are considered fat. It's a sad fact, but it's true. Personally, I feel a person can't win. If you are really thin, people say you are anorexic. If you aren't a size 2, then you are fat. What size are we all supposed to be?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. A person could be overweight and quite a few people could think she or he is still good looking. Others might get this idea in their head that if you are overweight, you are immediately considered ugly. Remember beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Just because you meet one person that thinks not being a size 2 is unattractive, you might meet somebody else that thinks you are beautiful anyway.

i agree with you here...I always thought Natalie/Mindy was pretty. i haven't seen her latley but my bet is that she's still pretty. all the Facts-o-Lifers were/are pretty.
