Post Funniest moments?

What are some of your favorite funniest moments on CATM?
Some of mine:

On "Return of Aunt Connie", where Chico wants to cut in on Ed and another woman dancing, and bypasses the woman and starts dancing with Ed.

Also, on that episode when he acts like Jaques Cousteau, Lawrence of Arabia and a big baby.

When Louie sings, "Here comes the bride--don't try to hide" (or when he sings anything, for that matter)

When Chico acts like Igor the hunchback when Ed orders him around.

At the end of "The Hypnotist" when Chico is hypnotized into proposing to Ed's girlfriend, throws her into his van with him, and the van starts rocking.

When Chico starts talking in ghetto language to this tough street dude who comes in to rob the place ("Too Many Crooks")

Karen, what a great thread!

One of my favorite moments is in the boxing episode when Ed asks Louie to try to talk Chico out of being a boxer. Louie goes over to Chico to try to convince Chico he might be making a mistake and Chico says " I don't know how Ed does it, I see your mouth moving but all I hear is Ed's voice!" or something to that effect.

I also love Chico's Igor routine. My favorite time he did that was in the Violet Baines episode where he climbs on the work bench and vaults over the banaster onto the stairs. He was so athletic! I think my second favorite is in the episode where Ed's shoulder is bothering him and Chico asks him if he knows what kind of a home the "Homemade Remedy" was made in and he goes on about the old woman in the basement of the castle on the top of the hill.... I giggle every time I see that!

I also love his Groucho Marx impressions!

Another funny moment is when Rich Little and Freddie are on the phone pretending to be Rev. Bemis and Louie and Ed discovers what they are up to!

I also love the pie in the face at the end of the Liz episode.... you can tell Freddie wasn't expecting that... it was totally unscripted!

Another favorite is the atomic kiss Mable gives Chico when he is going to leave for NY with his cousin. When he tells her she forgot her gum, I crack up every time!

I guess I have too many "favorite" funny moments... probably too many to list. That is what made the show so great. I could list a dozen more....but I'd better leave a few for others to mention!

My all time favorite episode is the one with Miklos The Gypsy. The whole thing is just a scream. I about lost it though when Chico told Miklos "May you have a dairy farm with 5000 flat-chested cows!"
Another funny moment was in the episode where Ed was going to be kicked out of the garage and they had to convince that snooty guy that the garage was a national landmark...the hallowed wall episode. Ed has baracaded the garage door, he has that broken gun in his hand and Chico tells him to put it away. Ed looks at Chico and says, "Put it away? I can't even put it together!"
And then there's the episode where Chico does the sermon for Rev. Bemis. When Chico does his jive-talkin' example of how the Rev. should do the sermon and then Rev. Bemis comes back and tries to do the same but makes a fool of himself.
As you can tell, I could go on and on with this thread.

Thank-you ladies for a great thread!! There are so many great and funny moments I could mention. But one of my favorites is when Chico talks Ed into getting a loan to buy additional equipment for the business. The products are not selling too well and Ed is fearful that he made a big mistake. He is getting on Chico's case about it. Chico defends the decision and tells Ed that he has ambition, drive, and "dreams for tomorrow". Then Ed replies, "Well I've got a nightmare today!" Referring to all the equipment they have to somehow pay for.

#1 - When Miklos the gypsy surprises Chico while he's reading his book. It comes on the very beginning. It's episode #25 - Play gypsy. Freddie should've won an Emmy for his scream alone!

More to come later.................

My episode doesn't have that part
It starts at the part where Miklos is already reading Ed's palm...and I recorded right from the opening song. Man, that makes me mad!!! I feel ripped off! I demand a recount!

I love the retirement episode. When the ladie that gave them the tour starts the dance lesson. You can see Freddie start getting into the song as he begins to dance. Hubba hubba!

Freddie was so comical in this episode..... And so HANDSOME!!! He looks so good in this episode... I love when he walks his hair bounces up and down.

He also tells this joke on the show.....

Chico - (Walks into Ed's office) "Hey Ed" don't you know its dangerous to run out on a debt to a gypsy? Gypsy's got magical powers man one magic spell and you could be growing another foot out of the side of your head.

Miklos: I don't like to push but my revered father did save your skin.

Chico: (Looking at Ed) Did he save your skin?

Ed: Well bla bla yeah........

Chico: Well he should've ironed it before he gave it back to you.

I love it, Freddie was hilarious. I love the way he slaps Miklos five and his tongue comes out of his mouth. Woooooooooooo...... And then Ed gets mad at him and he throws Ed a kiss. I miss him so much!!! He was extroadinary.

Chicosladyfair. Are you sure you're not talking about episode # 29 The misfortune teller? Miklos is in that one too.

I thought my hair scrunchie was on too tight when I was reading your post and I didn't recognize any of it. LMAO!
I am thinking of the one with the raffle tickets...and the barter system. Is this other one before or after that one?

I've seen both Miklos episodes. The Raffle one is the one I remember best but the other one was funny too from what I remember.

JennyLee...
I'll have to be on the lookout for that one. I hope they air it before CATM gets taken off the schedule. Thanks for clearing that up for me...I would have wandered the streets aimlessly thinking there was only one Miklos episode.
Thanks again.

Jenny Lee...

Referencing quote from you:

"I miss him so much. He was extraordinary."

Beautiful and true statement. I am with you and feel the same way.
