It's definitely too young to have a baby. I feel sorry for children who have babies so early in life. A young lady or guy should enjoy her life before having a child. Life is too hard as it is, to bring a baby into the world. Alot of these young girls who have babies need parents to monitor their behavior. Or at least to give them protection (birth control).

Teens should not be parents. We have enough trouble with everything else about being a teen let alone adding a baby into the situation.

OMG, where I live it's pretty much the norm. Teens have babies around here all of the time and I think it's pretty sad. A girl got pregnant in 6th grade when I was in grade school! I think one of my teachers said that the county I live in has the highest teen pregnancy rate in the nation! I'm not proud of it, but it's the truth. There's a sophomore girl that's pregnant now, and there's a couple senior girls w/ babies, and a friend of mine has a 2 year old, so yeah it's normal in good ole Richwood I don't want to be a barefoot & pregnant teenage hick though!

I had a friend in my senior year of high school that had a baby. Every woman in her family, generation after generation, had a teenage pregnancy. So I guess for her, it was normal. But I don't agree with it. If you had hopes of going to college or anything, you can forget about it.

I agree!

Who do you think gets the woman pregnant? Guys are just as bad as girls dude.

My friend got pregnant a few years ago, I think she was 15 at the time. This guy got her pregnant and after he found out he dumped her. He didn't want a child. Then a few months later she miscarried and when he found out about that, he wanted her back. I don't know if she went back to him or not.

My friend's brother actually took in the baby that he had with his girlfriend. He's a true gentleman. My elder brother had a pregnancy scare with his girlfriend last year. I nearly had a heart attack, but when he told my mom, the first words out of her mouth were , "You're helping her raise that child. You will be a father."
Luckily it was just a scare cause my brother can't even keep his sea monkeys alive.

I think that it's up to the person who's having it, cuz there's nothing the rest of us can do about it. But if it was up to me, I would be using birth control...no way would I be 15 and pregnant. (LOL that's a Lifetime movie!)

Not bringing AIDS into the subject, that is one of the good parts about doing it with guys instead of girls, nobody gets pregnant!

Just my opinion

well I think it is wrong because they are still babies themselves BUT it depends on the Mother because One of my Bestfriends sisters had her baby at 16 and she was VERY Mature for her age and made a great mom to her son

It's their choice. If they think they can handle it, well then they can. I personally wouldn't do it, I'd like to go to college and travel some.
