Default Memories watching FOL?

What is your favorite memory watching rhe FOL? I fell in love w/the show as a kid, when my sister and I would watch the show on USA and we loved all of the characters, especially Blair and Jo. We found their dynamic to be hilarious. I really loved all of the characters. I remember spending all day one August watching an all day long FOL marathon on USA that showed a few episodes from each season. Does anyone remember this marathon? It was so neat watching them grow up throughout the day. I also loved watching the show on Nick at Nite 2 years ago. Whenever I would babysit, it would always be on and it gave off such a warm, cozy feel to it, especially some of the older episodes which I hadn't seen many of. I really wish it would come back to Nick at Nite or be on TV Land, but eventually it probably will return. The show was doing so well and I don't understand why they took it off. It really was doing exceptionally well for a N@N show. Grr-first they took off the Wonder Years, then this. There have been others. The only thing I didn't like about when FOL was on, was that it was also preceded or followed by 2 episodes of Threes Company, which I really have never cared for.

My favorite memory...

I remember going and finding me a blue jean jacket to wear because Jo had one. I also remember buying blank tapes and recording FOL episodes, then spending countless hours watching the tapes over and over. The funnest thing was then getting on this exact board and analyzing each and every episode with all my FOL friends. It can't be matched! FOL made me laugh, cry, and laugh until I cried. It was awesome. I had never cried watching a TV show before, but the accident episode got to me, and "Where's Poppa" made me sit down and look at my own friends. It was just awesome, the entire show. Watching four girls my age interact like that helped me in my own life. Watching Blair and Jo, two total opposites pull together and slowly but surely become friends gave me hope...

It was and still is-just awesome!

I remember when FOL used to air on reruns in the morning, between the game shows when I was in junior high. The weekly TV Guide would give the episode description which of course I poured over every day. If there was an episode I REALLY wanted to see, I'd actually be "sick" and not go to school so I could stay home and watch my favorite show

Pathetic, no?

I actually pulled this manuever one time too so I could stay home and watch "Yentl". Weird how my movie tastes have changed!

I remember spending a summer watching all of my FOL tapes and recording what episodes were on which tapes so that it would be easy to find the episodes that I wanted to watch. I also remember finding out that FOL was going to be showing on Hallmark, I was jumping up and down and ran to tell my mom, then I went to the store to buy more blank tapes. I also remember the countless hours I have spent putting together an FOL notebook-which is still not yet finished. And I remember being amazed at how much I love this classic sitcom and knowing that I will never get tired of it.

The Facts of Life rocks!!! I love FOL!!!

I remember when the show was first on. I was pretty young, but I loved the show. We would look in the TV Guide as soon as we got it to see what the show was going to be about. Then, I'd wait (very impatiently) until it was on. I could hardly wait. It was awesome.

That's the first time I saw it too. But I was moving that week, so I only got to see a couple episodes. When we got settled in at our new place and finally got cable again, that's when I was able to see it more.

I remember watching it on USA and referring to Mrs. Garrett as the weird lady with red hair... who knew I'd like her the best?haha..and one of the funniest things I remember(or least, it was to me) is that, whenever I was younger, I would ask mom what that sign said...in the theme song, when Jo holds up that sign that says, "The Merry Wives of Windsor" I'd ask her EVERY time...and then, when I finally remembered, I was like, "That sign says, 'the merry wives of windsor!' " all excitedly like I had learned speed reading... Ahh..good times...
Course the greatest part for me, is remembering back in...July, the first time I saw Breaking Point...I cried...and then remembering only back to October when I saw "Out Of Peeksill" and cried even more cause, even though I knew through the whole episode that Mrs. G was gonna leave...I wanted her to stay.
And, of course, even better than that, is knowing that I can come to the message boards and say that and not get laughed at.

I remember watching once in a while during the 1988 season on NBC. I forcefully watched FOL because my sisters didn't want to change the channel. (I later got hooked.)

When I got older, I watched FOL on the USA Network during Winter Break and summer.

When it came to Nick @ Nite, the whole family will watch it when we ate dinner.
