Angry A Diner Nightmare!

I keep forgetting and I wanted to share this. The "new Diner" thread got my intersted in seeing if I could locatea any other 50's themed places other than Johnny Rockets, since the one I go to is closed on Sunday. I THOUGHT I found one http://www.parkwestdiner.com I was thrilled. It was somewhat of a drive (45 minutes) but I on the site it said how they don;t just display 50's memorabilia, it's like walking into the 50's. They have had a pic of their jukebox. All I can say is I'd sue for false advertising but since I didn't actually live in the 50's I'd have nothing concrete to go on! I go in there. IN looks like a regular diner save for the colors of the booths. I'm sooooo impressed!
I did the see the juke. Too bad I couldn't tell if it worked and I wouldn't want to turn it on, since there was a huge crowd of people wating to be seated. I had a bad feeling, but figued since I made the trip I might as well eat. Did I mention there was NO music in the place? I give thme my name. I get called and for some reason they sit me at a booth and set four places. ??????
It was getting confusing and finally a waiter asked me if I was waiting for other people. I told him "no" and I didn't knwo why they set four places. Wait, it gets better! The manager came over, and I explained. He requests that I GET UP so he can seat abigger party and he'll give me the next available small booth!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! But I'm starved, so I stay. I get seated.
I see "shakes or malteds" on the drink menu. Waitress come over and I ask for a chocalate malted. She says "you mean a shake". I said "yeah, a shake". I get this so-called shake. It didn't taste bad, but it resembled borown sludge it a small glass.
The fries were big & soggy. The only thing decent was the bacon burger.
I'm going over to their guestbook now, to let them have it!

We have 4 or 5 50's diners around here ( some are better than others ), where I live and I never had THAT kind of treatment.

To me, Fonzie is what everyone wants to be, Richie is kind of what everyone wants her son to be. And Potsie, I think, is what everyone is

This "Happy Days Diner" place here in Raleigh had a big picture of Potsie above where we sat. I wonder if they have a website?
