Thumbs up Birds of Prey 2 New Episodes This Wednesday!!

It looks as if BOP is leaving the air next week. The WB has not said yet whether they will air the last 2 episodes.

Next Weeks Schedule

Gladiatrix (Jan. 8th, 2003)
When young metahuman women are abducted in New Gotham, Helena’s (Ashley Scott) investigation leads her to uncover a secret club where the captive women are drugged and forced to fight each other in an arena. When Helena is also abducted, it is up to Dinah (Rachel Skarsten) to rescue her.

Reunion (Jan. 8th, 2003)
As Helena (Ashley Scott) concocts excuses to avoid attending her high-school reunion, former classmates are being murdered by a chameleonlike predator. Barbara: Dina Meyer. Dinah: Rachel Skarsten. Reese: Shemar Moore.

After seeing previews for one of the episodes last night I think every BOP fan should record these episodes.

I still feel that WB is making a big mistake by removing that show. I hope they show the last two episodes. It'd be pretty silly if they filmed them and spent a lot of money to make them and they didn't even bother showing it. Thanks for the info.

Jenny have you seen the BOP repeats? If so, is it me or do they air scenes they didn't show when they aired them the first time.

I've been catching the repeats too. It did seem like they had extra scenes in the eps. That's pretty weird that they would show them in reruns and not during the actual first showing.

I like the two eps they showed tonight.

Chris, have you heard anything about the final two eps? I'm starting to wonder now if they will ever show them. Tonight during the commericials they said next week Dawson's Creek will be back. That fills up the 8 p.m. timeslot and then they commericial Angel and said that it's moving to 9 p.m., which is BOP's usual time.

Well, I have to admit that it will be a half full glass if they don't show the final two eps. What happened to Harly? That's the empty part of the glass. Yet, Reese finally found out that Huntress is Helena Kyle.

Are you telling me Harley isn't in tonights episodes? They can't do this!

I heard the last 2 episodes will air in March and the last episode will be the death of a character. I don't know though if Helena will find out about Harley. I hope she does.

It's only 7 30 here where I live, the episodes haven't aired yet, so I wouldn't know. lol But thanks for letting me know Reese finds out about Helena.

Oh geez, I totally forgot about the time factor. I'm sorry I spoiled the Reese detail for you.

I didn't see Harley in either episode. I hope they do take that into consideration with the last two eps. They can't leave that whole Harley detail hanging.

Who do you think they'll kill off in the last episode? Maybe they'll kill Harley off and leave the other characters alone and that will be an easy give away for another station picking the show up. I know it's still a lost cause, but I'm still hoping that some station decides to buy out the rights and do new episodes.

it's ok I don't mind knowing whats going to happen a head of time. I wonder why they keep Harley out. I saw The Angel previews and it says 6 new episodes in a row so that means in March Angel will either have repeats or be pre-empt for the last 2 episodes of BOP to air. I hope I'm right.

On the character dying I heard it was going to be the guy at that No Mans Land, Helena and Dinahs friend. I forgot his name. But that was a rumor so it could be some one else.

Well it's over. No more Birds for a while. Atleast I have all the episodes on tape. Did you tape the series Jenny? I loved Sins of The Mother, Three Birds & Baby, and Gladiatrix the best. What are your favorite episodes?

Also Reunion wasn't what I expected it to be. I thought it be a little more interesting. At least Reese knows who Huntress is. Now to get Harley revealed

I got every episode on tape. I even taped the reruns that they showed. I like Gladiatrix (this one is my fave), 3 Birds & Baby and I like Sins of the Mother. I kind of liked Reunion. I'm glad that Reese found out who Huntress is. That would suck big time if he didn't find out.

I liked every actor and actress on BOP. Usually, I have one character that really annoys me- but this show was an exception. They really cast the right actors for the show. I'm disappointed that it didn't last very long. Well, at least they are giving us 13 eps. Some shows are ripped from the schedule after the 3rd or 4th ep has aired.

You know that petition you had in your sig? How many people signed it? j/w

I taped the reruns too! lol thats how I noticed different scenes in the episodes. lol. The petition had a total of.....

Let me find the petition link....

Hang on I'm still looking lol

Still wondering?

Lets see what was the question again....

The petition had a total of 7,539 Signatures. Here is a link to the petition Start A Revolution

Also I love Mia Sara as Harley, but the BOP message boards I go to hate her! I wish Mia was in every episode instead of like 8 out of 11 so far.

Oh well the series was a good one and it could have turned into the biggest show ever if they gave it time but they didn't, their loss and painfully ours

Man, 7,539 sigs couldn't help this show. That's too bad. Yeah, you are right. They really could've turned into a big show if they had only given it some more time. You know how big of a franchise Star Trek is. BOP could've challenged it. I could seriously see playing cards, marbles, posters, trading cards- I could see the BOP cast on all of that stuff.

You know what I wonder, I wonder if the show could've stuck around if it wasn't for all these reality shows. BOP just looks like it would be such an expensive show to do. You can probably do about 3 reality shows on BOP's budget. Maybe that's what WB's execs thought too. Do we want to cash in on this reality craze by doing 3 or 4 reality shows, or do we want to keep Birds of Prey and use all our money footing for this project?

They could've moved timeslots around and moved it behind Smallville. Two super hero shows, it would fit perfectly together.

I hate reality shows too. You know that Pascal English guy from one of the Survivors? He lives in my town and I never even watched the show he was on. I've never even seen Survivor. They really decked up the town square when Pascal was on Survivor. Now he's in the town paper every other week.

I think most reality shows are just a sham. Have you heard anything about that Joe Millionaire show? I posted my little rant on the FOL board because I was replying to the Surreal Life thread. They really try to push the envelope and I just don't find gold diggers to be that much entertainment.
