Default Another season for Friends can't be good for Scrubs.

I bet you that NBC gets rid of Scrubs on Thursday night and uses its slot to anchor, Croupling. I bet you anything this is what NBC wanted to do the entire time.

I don't know...
I think it was a good idea for NBC to finally give up on putting a new comedy on after "Friends." "Scrubs," which was already a breakout hit, has benefitted greatly from being paired up with the number one comedy on TV. Finally they have a solid hour of comedy, as opposed to the old days when they had some weak show following the powerhouse "Friends."
In my opinion, I think "Scrubs," which has shown no signs of stopping, will move into the 8PM timeslot when "Friends" finally calls it quits after ten seasons...

Friends is gone after next year so they won't sacrafice Scrubs by getting it lost somewhere in their lineup.

I would actually expect a big push for Scrubs before this season is out and for NBC to promote it bigtime in the future.

They had better not keep that awful Friends on and cancel Scrubs! Scrubs is fresh and funny. Friends should have been cancelled six seasons ago. Just my opinion

AFTER THIS SEASON THERE GONNA MOVE SCRUBS TO TUESDAY TO SEE IF VIEWERS WILL WATCH IT BASED ON ITS ON MERITS AND NOT BECAUSE ITS AFTER FRIENDS. THAN THERE GONNA MOVE A NEW SHOW AFTER FRIENDS CAUSE NBC IS ALWAYS LOOKIN FOR NEW SHOWS. MEANWHILE SCRUBS QUICKLY FALLS DOWN THE RATINGS IN ITS NEW TUESDAY SLOT. FINALLY, AFTER A SEASON OF DRAGGIN ALONG WITH DISMAL RATINGS THE ENTIRE SEASON, NBC FINALLY SWINGS THE AXE ON SCRUBS. YAAAAAAAA CLAP CLAP CLAP ITS GONE HA HA HA HA BYE BYE SCRUBS

Hey sunshine, how about contributing something of value to this website instead of all your negative Scrubs comments?

Of your 13 posts, 11 are about hating Scrubs.

Why are you signed up to Sitcoms Online?
Just to post your dislike of Scrubs?
That is pretty pathetic.

I've got an idea, go somewhere else and throw yourself a pity party.

I agree with you so much on this! Friends is so bland and unoriginal and Scrubs is .... well, fresh and funny like you said.

UH OH SOMEONE IS GETTIN DEFENSIVE. LOOK, COPPING AN ATTITUDE WITH ME IS NOT GONNA CHANGE WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO SCRUBS LIKE I SAID IN MY PREDICTION. SO IF EVERRYONE AT SCRUBS DOESNT WANT TO HEAR NEGATIVE COMMENTS ABOUT THEIR SHOW THAN THEY SHOULDNT HAVE MADE THIS SHOW.

Nobody's getting defensive.
You just refuse to acknowledge that the only thing you post is to bash Scrubs.

Who cares if you like it or not, you are entitled to your opinion.

But since your only posts are against Scrubs it seems you have no other opinions.

Now who has got an attitude? The person obsessed with putting down a sitcom, that's who.

Now that is just sad.

I doubt NBC would put Coupling on after Friends that is a 8:30 timeslot. Coupling is suppose to be a cross of Friends and Sex and the City. It has been called Friends with sex. So they'll probably put it on after Will and Grace. At 9:30 when they can get away with alot more sex jokes.

At least one of the shows is going to have to go on hiatus...the question is: What lead-in is most related to the sexual antics on Coupling? I'm guessing that it goes on at 9:30. Good Morning Miami is doomed, and may not even get it's second season. It's either going to go on at 8:30 after Friends or 9:30...but GMM is going either way. The Thursday schedule can be played with without getting themselves hurt...trust me.

I personally wish they'd move Scrubs back to Tuesday nights after Frasier. Frasier was a much better lead-in, in my opinion.

With Friends, Frasier, and ER supposedly all set to leave after the 2003-2004 season, I don't think NBC can afford to lose any hit shows it has right now.

True, but the way TV is working these days, any show could get cancelled at any time.

I agree!

Yeah, Coupling is most likely to be at the 9:30 time slot.

GMM was moved to Tuesday, I think.
