The General Hospital Thread was closed. I haven't posted on it for a few days and when I come back there are two of you fighting like there's no tomorrow. Look, obviously one of you doesn't enjoy GH and the other does. I personally love it. I think the acting is superb and the writing equally good. But those are my reasons. If you don't like the show make a thread titled "General Hospital Haters Club" or something equally annoying and stop posting on this one because obviously we don't enjoy or care about you opinions.

Also, I said that you were wasting my time. You are. I would rather spend the small amount of time I spend on the internet reading 'good' opinoins on GH rather than read your rants. I'm sorry if you have extra time to go to every thread for a show you don't like and post. That means that you don't have a life. You also told me what to reply. You said that I couldn't say that what you wrote was childish. Well, when I'm on the internet I reserve the right to type what I want to who I want without some imature GH Hater butting in.

So, in the future, refrain from writing "childish" comments about GH or me. And instead of typing curse words you should read the dictionary for more proper terms. If you can't afford one you can go to www.dictionary.com and find an amble supply of synonyms for "****ing." I honestly feel sorry for people like you who's only entertainment in life is starting fights on message boards.

The actress that plays Carly real life name is Tamara Braun. Sorry I don't know how old she is though.

As you can see in my siggy two of my favs are Alexis and Luke. I have been missing a lot of the shows lateley though.

I hope that i will have time to start watching again though.

Just a something that I am throwing in people that you would like to see come back to the show... Tiff, Shown SP, Robert, Anna, even though she is on AMC now, Robin....I can't think of anyone else right now. Ohhhhhhhh Laura... How could I have forgotten her???LOL

People that you would like to see stay on the show. Will my frist one that i would have to say is Brenda, becasue I think that she is leaving. Then Jason, becasue the actor always gets board, adn then decides to leave. LOL Jax Carly, The Q's lets face it it wouldn't be the same without them. LOL

Bonnie is great what part of Ohio do u live in? I noticed 2 people on here from General Hospital that used to play on Santa Barbara soap opera in the 80's. It's a guy & a woman & i saw them talking at a hospital yesterday. I don't know their names on General Hospital. Can ya'll help me out if u know who i'm talkin about?

As for the two actors that you saw I know that the one was Nancy Lee Grahn, who plays Alexis. And the other guy I am not really sure, Did he have a beard, if so I think, but as I just said I am really not sure, he might be.......I go running to look at one of my soap books from 1989...LOL Just for you I about killed myself in my closet looking for them..I am sorry though I couldn't find any thing on the actor, but if I had to take a guess I would have to say that his name in real life is Lane Davis, or something like that. Looking through the book more closeley I found that the actors name is Lane Davies...Now that is if I have the right actor that you were acking me about.

I think that maybe the guy that was in Santa Barbara was the guy who plays Cameron, the shrink. I could be wrong though.

Anyway, I haven't seen Scott in a romantic role since the Bobbie fiasco and I'm happy about it! He can be such an ass! Besides Maurice Bernard is so much hotter!

People I'd like to come back...the 'old' Lucky Joshua Jackson! Laura, of course. Stefan! I really hated him until the very last episode with him, that sucks! Emily and Juan! Elizabeth's sister: Sarah.

People I'd like to see go...BRENDA! She totally screwed up everything! Jax needs to either go back to Skye or go back to Australia! A.J. -a lot of people would like him and Courtney to stay together but she is soooo much better with Jason!

yeah I have to agree with you on Scott not having Uhhh I don't want to see him with anyone.. He is just being to mean right now. I wish that Alexis woulda gotten to be the DA that woulda been sooooooo much better.

I read in Soap Opera Digest or something that they are making her character more like it was when she first arrived in Port Charles..strong and annoying, no doubt! Did you notice that instead of her usual light pink lipstick she's started wearing dark colors? I think it reflects her change. Anyway!

I'm not sure who is wedding who but in the left corner you can see A Martinez (used to be in GH too), Nancy Ghram (Alexis) is on the right along with Lane Davies. I'm not sure which one in the picture is Robin Wright Penn but maybe you know (maybe she is the bride?). You can also see the woman who plays Eliza on All My Children in the wheelchair in front of A Martinez.

I also really wish that JJ would come back, but really even if the show was going to consider him, I don't think that the actor would be willing to come back at this point. I do however, look forward to a new Lucky, it can't be any worse then the one that is there already. I know I that I am being mean, but oh well. LOL

As for Liz I know that you don't like her, but she is okay. I mean I liked her when she frist came on, but then for some reason they made her start acting like she was/is better then everyone else, so you know I don't really know. LOL

Okay now I have a question...I am lucking if I can see one show a week, and I really missed something, becasue I missed when Alexis was not Brenda, and Jason's lawyer....So why did she drop the case, and Why is Dara taking over?? I really missed that one. LOL Alse does anyone know who was in that hood with that one lawyer that also used to be Jason lawyer? I know it was the murder, and that it was a women, was it Skye? I was also kinda thinking that it sounded kinda like Alexis, but then again I could be wrong. I don't know. Of corse then again Skye and AJ where the two that did bye off that women to say that she saw Brenda kill that guy, so I don't know. LOL So please please please HELP?!?!?!?!?!?! LOL

Alexis left the case because she said that Christina needed a surgery but since the surgery wasn't needed immediately she was just leaving the case because she didn't want to do it anymore. She didn't even tell Ned she was leaving. Dara took over because there was no one else.

I think the woman in the coat is Skye because (maybe you missed this one) Ida said that Skye was the one that killed him. The lawyer's name is Ric.

Did you watch Friday's episode?

Marcil is leaving. Can the men in Brenda's life Barrett?
Six months after it was announced with great fanfare that Vanessa Marcil was returning to GENERAL HOSPITAL and the role of heroine Brenda Barrett, Soaps In Depth has received confirmation from a show rep that the actress has decided not to extend her contract for a long-term run. According to sources, Marcil will tape her final scenes in late January.

Says GH executive producer Jill Farren Phelps in a statement, "We are disappointed by Vanessa's decision to leave but understand her desire to try new things. Vanessa will always be a very important part of the GH family and we wish her success in her future endeavors."

For more on this breaking story, watch for the next ABC issue of Soaps In Depth, on sale February 4.
