in the original ending for cheers, Norm was going to announce that he was a mormon, and that he would just slowly spill his beers on the floor. But that didn't work out because George Wendt needed the whole beer image for his spinoff of cheers "The George Wendt Show" which only lasted 7 episodes.

They had an interview with John Ratzenberger ounce and he had mentioned it. Did u know George Wendt had a show? I have seen screen shots but never saw the show. George Wendt played the roll of George Coleman and he was a call-in ridio show host. The network felt that it was too much like Frasier so it didn't even make a full season. Bummer.

I knew about the show. It was on CBS and the radio show was about fixing cars. I also believe Artie Lange was on the show as George's brother.
