Sad Prinze of Hearts is Gone

I am sad to report that a very good and much enjoyed Freddie site is no more. The Prinze of Hearts site is gone and i would just like it known that to the ones who could not keep nasty remarks to themselves are to thank for this.
It was requested that that site not be a place of fighting and i for one was a regular there because of that.
I came to the intrenet looking for anything on Freddie Prinze sr and was over joyed whrn I found an extended family of wonderful friends.
I thought we came together because of a common bond. A love and repect for a talented young actor/comedian and a desire to learn all we could about the man who left us to soon.
One of the things i have learned and find truely heartbreaking is perhaps how few real Friends Freddie had. Many of us here has said I wish he had known us we could have been his good friends, and now I'm finding that it is difficult for us to be good to each other(who have also never met)there has been name calling and insults and now it's caused the loss of a very good Freddie site(and we think we could have helped Freddie?)What is going on here is perhaps some of the same type of stuff that was hurting Freddie in Hollywood.
After Tuesdays tragedy would should be reaching out to each other not tearing anyone down with rude names and remarks.
And as a person who is currently being treated for depression,I find the fact the someone could joke about that or suggest another person should be medicated is highly insensitive.

Oh wow, I am so sorry to hear this. I have been enjoying that one & the many other CATM/FREDDIE sites. It's sad to see a site gone due to arguing. Instead of arguing I'd love to see people coming together in the memory of Freddie. We are all friends in Freddie here. I like everyone on all of the Freddie/CATM sites so this is sad to see.

Please, please, please, if folks just have to argue please feel free to do it on the message board I have created for CATM/Freddie fans to discuss controversial & argumentative stuff (stuff that erupts into arguing) on. I created this message board so that if arguing has to occur it doesn't get on the CATM/Freddie sites & things like this don't happen. So feel free to use these boards for your disagreements.

So sorry to lose this site.

That was such a lovely site. It's a shame that it has been taken out. I don't think Freddie would've stood for that!

So did the person who owned the site shut it down? Or did the website host shut them down?

I'm so sorry Prinze of Hearts is gone - especially since one of the reasons behind it is because a few people were so immature, rude, and ignorant! Pat is a very good-hearted, talented, free spoken, and very dedicated Freddie Prinze fan and she had a lot of very interesting information to post and share. It was HER sight that she posted her material on and she should have been allowed to post anything she wanted there without the scrutiny of others. If they did not want to read what she posted, then stay the heck off her web-site! There are a lot of other sites they could be checking out and one that is especially designed specifically for the sake of arguing (thank you Cheryl). We've all lost a good friend here and in the long run I'm sure you will all have to agree. We ARE Freddie Prinze fans and we want to know as much as we possibly can about him, good, bad and even the ugly. We asked about the autopsy reports and she was dedicated enough to locate them and post them for us. Then after she did, a couple of people blasted her for it. Freddie was a public figure (his choice) and he left us with a lot of unanswered questions. This message board is here for us to discuss and learn and maybe even come to some conclusion ourselves about things we've wondered about for years. This message board is not to redicule and bad mouth people! If you don't like what's on the message board or you find it offensive, then I think the best thing is to ignore the post, make a polite statement of disagreement or leave. Unfortunately though, that is what Pat has decided to do and I'm very sorry for that.
This message board is about Freddie Prinze and the cast of Chico and the Man, not about seeing how cruel or cute you can be.

Sad

I agree Catcopy, it feels as if we have been subjected to an effective type of "terrorism" directed at the good people of this board over the past few months. There seems to be common threads in all of the incidents unfortunately. I hope and pray that this , too, will be stopped.

Joy, you could not have said it any better. Tuesday's tragedy should have taught us all a vaulable lesson. Life is precious and fragile. I for one am not going to waste my time bad mouthing others. We will all stand accountable and be judged by a much Higher authority one day. As our Freddie would say, Eeez not my job, man!! Amen!!

Hello,
I could not agree with you all more. This
type of e-mailing should not be allowed. I
suggest if you get a negative e-mail just to
simply delete. There is no need to respond
to negativity or let it affect our daily lives in this manner. If we do, than that
person has won. We cannot allow that, not
anymore. Patti does not need the hassle and
we as part of Freddie's family cannot allow it to happen. Freddie was about peace and love and he would be saddened by all this.
As a family we stand united and we are here for the love of one man and one man only.
Let's not lose our prospective or our love for one another.

I know as a family all our hearts are saddened by tuesday's events, and as it was
Patti's birthday, it turned into even a more
sad event for her. Our prayers are sent to all those who have lost family members, friends and fellow human beings.

"God Bless America, the land we love"
