Maybe it's just me, but I always felt so bad for Officer Kirk. He was always put down and it's humiliating for an adult to be insulted like that. Especially such a high autority figure. I think he was just a bit power hungry. But he was probably a good man. What do you think of "Kirk"?

He was a d*ck and got what he deserved. I always loved when Fonzie would tear into him, esp. when everyone else was too afraid to.

I love Officer Kirk!! LOl. I got all excited when he was in the episode where Fonzie has to go into the Army. Hes mean ya, but I love the episodes hes in! Plus-

, I swear he looks like my moms friend Nancy!! (Who, BTW, looks like John Denver!) LOl

I agree with MsConanOBrien! I loved the episodes he was in, he was great!

He was horrible to Fonzie, but I loved him for being an @$$hole. I wonder if there was a Mrs. Kirk...and Kirk Children. Hey, that should be a fanfic! Danny falls for Officer Kirk's daughter!

Yup!!! Danny Fonzarelli is a Senior in High School and quite loved by all, just like Daddy, until he meets one angry young woman who doesn't seem to think too much of him. Who is she and why is he finding himself attracted to her? Sounds cheesy, I know, but I'm doing it!!

Jay: Are you really like the mean officer Kirk on TV?

Ed: No, not at all. I may seem tough on tv, but I like to think I'm a nice guy. I belong to the Hollywood Christian Group.

Jay: You played cops for a long time.

Ed: that's right. Among other shows, I portrayed one in an episode with Jack Benny in the early 60's.

Jay: do you have a family?

Ed: I do, there they are in the audience.

(Ed died in the 90's, the interview might have happened in 93 or 94)
