Default What Happened to Bea Author in Malcolm in the Middle?

I heard she was on the show...but what exactly happened on it? And has anyone else from the Golden Girls been on Malcolm in the Middle?

She was the babysitter in the last episode of the first season, "Water Park." She babysat Dewy, and she got taken aay in the ambulance at the end, from dancing to much. I'm hoping she comes back, because they never explained what happened to her. And no other GG have been on.

She wont be back because in the commentary by the director on the DVD it says that she had a heart attack and died. They also said that in the original script she wasnt supposed to die but her and Dewey were supposed to get in a car and she looked at him through the rear view mirror and told him his new name was Poncho and they were supposed to drive off. That was supposed to be a publicity stunt for the show by making posters and putting on milk cartons Have you seen this boy? with Dewey's picture on them. But the director said Fox thought it was tasteless and he was saying how it was funny that a kidnapping was tastless and the babysitter dying was better...Hope this helps

Any time ...I think I would have liked the kidnapping story better because then Bea probably would have been back.
