Does ANYONE besides me watch Last of the Summer Wine? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

If this sitcom is so popular, how come NOBODY I know of watches it? There's got to be SOMEONE else in America that watches it besides me. I luv that show and I hope it never ends!

I would like to see the VERY first episode though.

You would find it on PBS in the US or BBC 1 in the UK.

For me it's on Saturday nights at 8:30PM CST (Yes, I stay at home on saturdays can you believe it just to watch this show and Are You Being served) and Monday nights at 10:30PM.

Check local listings!

I watch Last Of The Summer Wine. It airs in Canada on Vision TV. Have you seen the episode where the guys were running down the street with a bathtub over their heads with a moose head poking out? British humor is so bizarre.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who watches that show. For awhile I was feeling like a freak.

Well a DVD box set is coming out on 3/11/03 so you can see that episode and many more.

I've never seen this show.

No, you havent. But, you did reply to a thread commenting that its the longest running comedy or something. Youd have better luck bringing it the britcoms and having a thread asking for fans, not here @ the ChitChat board. Ay yi yi.
