Hi catcopy,
Sorry I haven't posted in awhile but I have been visiting friends for the holiday. My question to you is do you remember the Funfest celebration we have here in Hazleton? It is this weekend; just wondering if you ever heard of it. BTW, It kinda surprised me that you have a son with CP. I have a friend who has a daughter with that terrible disease, unfortunitly she(the daughter) passed away about 2 yrs. ago. Thank you for your time. I hope you have a great week and a nice weekend!! ![]() [This message has been edited by chicofan4ever (edited 09-04-2001).] [This message has been edited by chicofan4ever (edited 09-04-2001).] |

Hi Chicofan4ever - I was wondering where you were lately. In answer to your question, no I have never heard of the Funfest Celebration there in Hazleton. What is that
anyway? I talked to my counsin the other day who lived in Weatherly all his life but has recently moved to Pottstville or is it Pottstown (close to Philadelphia). We are planning to get together in that area sometime in the near future. Yes, I do have a son who has CP. I have 3 sons but the others are VERY HEALTHY. He was a twin and his twin died at birth and the remaining twin was born with CP. It's an afflliction, not a disease and most of the time people die from other complications and not the CP itself. Thank you for your concern.

Hi Catcopy18,
Thank you for responding to my question. In answer to what Funfest is, it's a two day celebration that happens in Hazleton, on Sunday they always have a huge parade. All the businesses in the area get together and have lots of great food. It's alot of fun. They have been doing this since 1979. I would also like to apoligize for calling CP a disease. I'm really glad that your sons are doing fine and staying healthy.
