Are there any books out on HD? If so, could you please give me the names? I have a Uncle who LOVES Happy Days, and we want to give him the book.
Thanks |

Yeah there were a couple books put out. I have one called Fonzie, Fonzie, Superstar. Your best bet is to look for Happy Days novels on eBay. They are out there but are quite hard to find.
Here's a link for one http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=2902471093 |

I actually have two copies of the complete set of Happy Days books. I bought them off ebay. I read them because I'm obsessed with Happy Days. But, I have to confess that my opinion of them isn't that high. They are poorly edited-- gramatical and spelling errors lurk all over the pages. And they are written on a juvenile level. There are some pretty funny jokes in there that had me rolling with laughter, though. I just wish they would have added more quality to the other parts. And it bugs me that Fonzie keeps calling Joanie, "shortstuff" in the books. The nickname is "shortcake." Now, I also have books that talk about the actors who played on Happy Days and they are fantastic!

There's a book called the "Official Fonzie Scrapbook" that I found in my high school's library one year. It's mostly pictures, but it is interesting. Here's a pic of the cover:

I found a book called "The Truth About Fonzie" by Peggy Herz, 1976, Scholastic Book Services. It has mostly info about the early days of the show.

I have both "The Truth About Fonzie" and "The Official Fonzie Scrapbook" and would recommend them. They're really good. They're filled with lots of great pictures and interesting tidbits of information. |
