Default Hair Question

Ok ummmm...can you bleach black hair and then dye over it? Or doesn't black (dyed black) hair bleach out well?

Well....if the black isn't permanent I'd wait til it washes out. If it is, if you bleach it, it'll prolly lighten it, but not bleach it completley.

((Wow I sound like I know what I'm talking about))

Ok I have dark brown hair, almost black for my natural color.... I kept adding Sun-In/Peroxide to my hair this summer and sat out in the sun..... the top of my hair is now light brown-blonde. Some hairs are even platinum.

If your hair is black and want it bleached, professionals can do it easily. It's hard to do it yourself, though.

Go to the salon. Sophomore year I had brown hair with blonde highlights. Well, stupid me did that damn SunIn. I literally used the WHOLE bottle in 3 days and it was really blonde, but it looked nice. Well, I went to the salon later on- I forget when (month or 2?) And I wanted blonde highlights. She had to do it twice, because some strands were literally a white because I did it so much! Thankfully though Im sick of blonde and now like black.

Oh man. I wish i would have gotten it done professionaly.......I have naturally blonde hair, but I died it red and put black through it (this was all permanent), and then I wanted to go back to a color close to my natural one....well ya, I bleached it, and it's orange. It was REAL bad, and then I had to buy more bleaching ****......now my roots are white(haha, WHITE man...like you know that movie Powder? haha), and the rest of my hair is like bright orange.....Something like that weirdo singer Vitamin C? haha..ya man, it's THAT bad. Anywayz, do you think I can dye over it (a medium blonde)? Or is it hopeless, and should I go to a salon? It's crazy man. I can't stop laughing about it. It's SO bad. I think my laughter is just to cover up the embarassment and pain though. haha Plus, my hair is really ****in DRY now. Oh man, I'm so stupid.

Thumbs down

Be warned all of you who are thinking of dyeing your hair black - it is a total b!tch to get rid of!
I dyed my hair black for about a year when I was 15 and I could not for the life of me get the stuff out of my hair once I got sick of it! My hairdresser told that if you dye your hair the same colour for a long period of time the dye actually gets absorbed into the roots and there's really nothing you can do to get rid of it other than just wait for it to go away naturally. For me this took over a year!
So if you seriously are gonna dye your hair black you better make bloody sure that you're gonna like it cos if you don't you're stuck with it for a loooooooooong time!
