Post Fade to Black

This book is Fade to Black.A book of movies obituaries,by Paul Donnelly. In the note it said I must end it .There`s no hope left.I`ll be at peace. No one had anything to do with this.My decision totally.Freddie Prinze. P.S. I`m sorry.Forgive me.Dusty`s here. He`s innocent. He cared.
I hadn`t ever read the P.S. part.It mades me wonder about Dusty.Maybe I`m reading to much into it.Have any of you read this last part?
Any comments about this?

Cool

I believe Freddie was telling people that dusty was the only one there. He didnt have anything to do with the gun shooting. That is why he said Dusty was innocent. Also saying that because he showed up to help him that he cared. Also he was saying for people to forgive him for what he had done.

He should have wrote hey everybody Dusty was the idiot who gave me back the gun. Not funny but wasnt it Dusty who took his gun away and then gave it back to him.

It also said in here that James Komack called Prinze into his office to offer his star any help he needed.

I was confused your right it was the Doctor who gave him back his gun. He should have just wrote it was all Dustys fault anyway just to mess with him. Nah but Dusty was not a good guy either i heard there where troubles with the Welcome Back Kotter Kids he managed.

Here is another piece out of the book.It said like many stars,Prinze developed a unfortunate liking for drugs. His habit caused the break-up of his marriage. At one stage, he was taking up to 100 quaaludes a day as well as sniffing enough cocaine to keep a colombian drug baron in luxury and drinking copious amounts of wine. Some of this sounds like the Playboy story.

So sad... If only he knew that we all cared... That dr had no business giving him his gun back! Someone should've stopped him from doing the drugs & tried to help hihm. I sure hope he wasn't doing the hard drugs & that was just a rumor. He looks too innocent. It's so sad...

Hey Ed,

From what I read in Robert Heyges (Epstein's) Website, Dusty Snyder was taking advantage of the Welcome Back Kotter kids as well as Freddie. The tone of Robert's comments was very hostile toward Dusty.

Also, David Brenner said in the E-True Hollywood story that Freddie found out that his finances weren't what he thought they were.

Perhaps his suicide was a passive-aggressive attempt to shock the **** out of Dusty as well as Kathy (he shot himself on her birthday)...
