Hey Cheryl, I hope you are enjoying your visit. I really enjoyed Columbus when I went to see Mariposa last month. It's a nice city, and I've seen a few in my day! Mariposa told me about the state fair there. Sounds like a great place to see if you get the chance! Enjoy the rest of your vacation!

Not from Columbus now, I lived there for about 15 years until I was married. Before that I had lived in Van Nuys, CA, the suburb of LA that Freddie lived in when he first moved out there--we had moved to OH the year before or I might have been bumping into him on the main street a block away from my house!

Thanks for the good wishes ya'll! We made it to Mikes sisters in Columbus, OH. We started out Friday am & spent Fri nite in Huntington, WV. My 486 laptop has been horribly sloooow. Had trouble getting into the free & cheap internets & even AOL. Been that way since Fri. Now at this time of the am for the very first time it is running fast LOL! Must be that Columbus is now asleep. Good for me. I can get caught up now on my message baords & e-mail. Another thing slowing me up was our almost 16 nephew is on the phone constantly with his girlfriend. He was on till 4:30 am the other nite LOL! I couldn't wait any longer for him to get off lol! If you want a slooow puter get a 486 LOL!

We have talked one of our nephews into taking us to some old book stores to look for Freddie & Arlo stuff.

If any of ya'll from around her would like to get together with us whhile we are up here just let us know! I brought my REEL SOUL magazine with me. We should be having fun...

Hey Gang... Cheryl e-mailed me and said her laptop is too slow to post messages so she has e-mailed me them and has asked me to post them for her.... Here it goes... From Cheryl........

Today we went to a mall here in Columbus with our niece & nephews called Easton. It looks like an old fashioned antique town. It is nice but very expansive & the clothing stores having nothing in bigger sizes only
really skinny sizes. Anyway, they have Barnes & Nobles Bookstore & a Virgin records
record store. We went to both of those & guess what I found! The LOOKING GOOD
CD for $12.99! I had originally decided sometime back that I'd just get the
original album & not worry about the CD cuz the album would be neater & worth more. I decided to get the CD which is on COLLECTIBLES records-- http://www.oldies.com I am sooo glad I got it! It has his picture right on the CD! WOW! That is sooo cool! So if you have the record you will want it for that! If you have the CD you'll still want the record album for
there larger picture & collectability. Play the CD save the album for collectabiity. It says in the CD that Tony Orlando was with him when he died. It said he was offered a scholarship at the Joffery Ballet. I wonder what he would've been like had he been a ballet dancer instead? Sexy in
a tutu? I am listening to it now on our nieces computer cuz mine has no sound or CD ROM on it although I did buy a portable CD ROM for it just for installing programs. It is funny! She doesn't have the Internet on her puter yet. I tried to get it on there but the modem is messing up. Last nite
I set my alarm to ring at 5 am to see CATM. It didn't go off. I did dream about
Freddie instead but don't remember it. I put my REEL SOUL magazine on the couch so I can see it when falling asleep. I wanna induce sweet dreams.

I read on a TVLAND message board on AOL where someone was saying that
TVLAND has gone to scrambling on their signals on the satellite dish (Check
the drawers this is so funny! LOL! & There's one where he say something
about checking some guys pocket I guess a criminal or something & all you will find
is some tissues whatever that means lol!) Anyway that means that since our satellite dish is a real old big on & we don't have a descrambler for it so we can get the paid channels cuz we can't find a descrambler for it. So I bet in the wintertime when the trees lose the leaves & we can get better
reception again, I won't be able to get it.

If I gotta have a mid-life crises, I'm glad I picked Freddie as mine.

Tonite we got back home from our 2 weeks trip to Mike's sisters in Columbus, OH. Good to be back on this WIN 98 machine since my old 486 laptop wouldn't let me post anymore on websites. The internet was soooo slow up there & being on an old 486 didn't help much! All I could do was read websites but not write on there & all webpages came up balnk & I had to hit enter to get them to come up-- Yow! I found out last nite that I left my laptop by acccident at Mikes sister's in Ohio. Fortunately my niece & her hubby are coming down to visit us next month & they'll bring it down to us then. I did want to work on it & see if it was working okay down here again. I am so forgetful! I have some neat Freddie stuff on there too! LOL!

Thanks to LuckyMama for being able to post some of my messages for me!

I'd love to find out more about Freddie allergies & find out was he allergic to other stuff besides dogs. Reason is I got allergies too & would love to know if we are allergic to the same stuff. I am allergic to so much stuff they don't even know what I am allergic to LOL! Ever since we were sitting outside at Mikes sisters house & her hubby was cutting grass, my alleriges started acting up & ever since then I've been coughing, wheezing, sneezing, watery eyes, scratchy throat & going thru hankys like crazy. LOL!
