Every year in Britain on Christmas Day at 3pm on BBC1, it is tradition for the Queen to give her Christmas speech. But Channel 4 ( the rogue of UK TV channels) always have an 'alternative Christmas speech' from some prominent celebrity as an alternative for those who don't give a $h!t about the Queen.
This year our alternative Christmas speech was given by none other than the lovely Sharon Osbourne. She talked for 15 minutes about her year and her family. She looked absolutely beautiful in a flowing blue dress, with Minnie the dog on her lap and Lola (wearing reindeer antlers) running around her feet. Sharon talked about how the Osbournes liked to celebrate Christmas, how Ozzy is a "total Scrooge" and how her year has been really tough since she was diagnosed as having cancer. Despite the hard year she has had, Sharon seemed in good spirits and wished everyone in the UK a very happy Christmas........and she only swore twice! I bet you Americans wish you had seen that, huh? I know the second series of 'The Osbournes' has already begun in the US but UK veiwers won't be able to see it untill February so I think it's cool that, for once, we have seen something that you guys will never see. BTW - does anyone have an Osbourne doll? I have a doll of Jack. He talks and says "Bugger off!", "That's on camera Kelly - I'm showing that to mum!" and "I'm an ass-kicking fat kid!". Happy Christmas Ozzy fans!
