Smile Freddie Jr. in the Sunday supplement

I guess by this time every one saw that Freddie Prinze Jr. was on the cover of the "Parade" supplement of todays newspaper!
His hair was cut very short and he is looking older and I believe more like his dad. The article was the same as most of the other articles that have been written about him lately. He did again mention how he found out about his dad and his feelings towards him. He mentioned that he really did wish his father had known him. He is truly a remarkable young man. He must have gotten the best qualities from each of his parents. He mentioned his maternal grandparents being very close to him but again he did not mention Maria. Too bad!

Thumbs up

I read the parade magazine and it was very infomative. The writer was very good. I was surprised to read when Freddie Jr. was inside the car and he broke down and cried for what seem eternity........ Then he saw his reflection in the glass. That's when he knew to trust in GOD. He has his head on straight. That's why I'm proud of him and his accomplishments. If he follows GOD he will never go wrong.............

He didn't mention Maria though......... I wonder what happen there.

No Joy, there was no mention of an upcoming wedding date.
I thought it was interesting when the interviewer asked him what does he most want out of life now? F.P. Jr. answered with "To be a father!" I'd win Father of the Year every time!" F.P. also said "I get in the shower every single day, get on my hands and knees and pray. I feel the need to thank God for everything. I have friends I can trust and a woman I love. I'm not a drug addict. I wasn't in a gang. I'm just a normal man who thanks God for every single thing He's done for me."
Freddie Prinze Jr. is certainly a young man to be proud of! Someone did something right in raising him.

I read it too. It was a good article. It made me sad when I read that he was such a loner as a kid and others picked on him. Sounded like his father's experiences as a child. Freddie Sr. would be so proud of how far his son has come and his decision to stay on the right path. I have no doubts when he says he'll be a great dad when he and Michelle have children.

A POST FROM THE VACATIONING CHERYLHARRELL:

I think it's in our local Sunday papers but we don't get the paper cuz it's too many $$$ & my folks get all the local papers & then give them to us later & we then take them in for recycling. I E-mailed my Mom to ask her to save me the PARADES from Sundays paper. I hope she can save them for me. The picture of Freddie that was in it was sooo sweet. It made me cry when I read that Jr. prays cuz I know his dad would have wanted him to be that way & would've been so proud of him. I wish they would do a whole story on Freddie
in there sometime.

When we were at my hubby Mikes sisters the other day, somehow the subject of suicide came up. & Then the subject of Freddie's suicide came up. Mikes sisters hubby & their daughter (Our niece) both kept saying that when someone commits suicide they won't make it to heaven & the because Freddie committed
suicide, he didn't go to heaven. That upset me so bad. I felt like crying but couldn't cuz there were folks around. I had to choke it & hold it inside. I had a big lump in my throat from choking it back inside. Later that nite when Mike & I were off alone, I went crying to him over it. He told me don't
cry & won't worry about it cuz they don't believe right when it comes to suicide. I was already upset of Freddie with the Freddie episodes ending & didn't need to hear that. It's so sad that he is remembered for his suicide & not his accomplishments he had here in this life. We miss you Freddie...

Yeah , it's so sad that Freddie Sr. is only rememberd for his suicide. He was so talented, handsome, and a loving human being. I am happy that Jr has his head on straight. He is well grounded and I hope he continues to stay that way. As much as We pray for Freddie Sr . I hope Freddie jr Prays for him also.
