Sad Firefly

It looks like Ron Glass's new show "Firefly" is gone for good. I don't know if anyone here was watching it, but it wasn't bad. At the beginning I thought it looked stupid, but it was quirky in a good way. I ended up liking it quite a bit. Ron Glass didn't have a huge part (he was the token older guy), but he had some good moments. On a personal note, I'd just like to add that he has aged *really* well. He has always had some awesome-looking hair.

It was good to see Ron Glass back on TV again; too bad "Firefly" was such a mess.
It had potential, but they kept tinkering with it, reshooting the pilot, not to mention pre-empting it for weeks on end.

I wish they gave the show a chance- maybe we would have seen more of Ron's character.

One of these days I will have to rent Firefly and Serenity. I work with several people who are huge fans.

Yes, by all means go rent both of them.

Looking at that post I wrote above from way back in 2002, you would think I didn't like Firefly, but over the years I have come to enjoy it a lot, thanks to the occasional marathon on Sci FI channel.

The movie spinoff was very good too. It's too bad the series didn't get a chance, because it could have been big.

I'm currently watching Firefly - one of my friends loaned it to me. It's a terrific show - too bad it didn't last longer. No wonder it has such a cult following.
