Default If Archie guest appeared on Maude or the Jeffersons, which would have been funnier?

The Fact the George and Maude hated the ground Archie Bunker walked on probably would have been very entertaining to see Archie make a guest appearance one of these spinoffs. Just imagine, Florence goes to answer the door, and there is Edith and Archie asking for george and Louise. Same with Maude, Walter answering the door and there are the Bunkers. So In your opinion which would have been a more entertaining episode?

That's a good question. I'd say Archie on the Jeffersons would've been funny.

It would be funnier if he was on Maude.

Both would have been hilarious and someday I would like to know why it was never done. I would have loved for Florence to answer the door and see Archie and then ask George "who's this honky?"

Maude by a longshot. Watching those two is like watching George and Florence, The Jeffersons, when they are going at it.

Archie on The Jeffersons. That would be hysterical. Could you see Archie meeting Mr. Bentley and Florence.

When Archie and Edith went to Carol's (aborted) wedding, on the AITF episode "Maude" at least we got to see them in Maude's house, even though Carol was played by a different actress, most of the plot involved her, Maude, and Walter and there were some good exchanges between Maude and Archie. But we never saw Archie or Edith visit the Jeffersons new digs-they only returned to visit the Bunkers in Queens a few times.

I would have liked to have seen John Wayne visit Archie insted of Maude. Archie star strck kissing up to his hero and Meathead giving the Duke a peace of his mind.

Archie on The Jeffersons would have been hilarious, especially when he met mother Jefferson. They would have had some great zingers for each other. lol

Definately on Maude....my reasons: Archie and George didnt much like each other, but, they were two sides of the same coin, wheras,Maude was 100% Liberal and therefore Archies polar opposite! Not to mention, George would have no doubt gotten a huge kick out of showing Archie how well HE'D made it in the World, whereas Maude would likely not want Archie in her house any longer than necessary.
