“Career Choices” -- Paul and Cate are shocked when they are called into the principal’s office and informed that Bridget wants to skip her college prep classes in order to become an esthetician.
Meanwhile, Paul is so impressed with Kerry’s sketches of “The Incredible Boring Woman” that he gets the principal to print them in the school newspaper -- not realizing that the principal is the boring woman in question, on “8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter,” TUESDAY, JANUARY 7 (8:00-8:30 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

“8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter” stars John Ritter as Paul Hennessy, Katey Sagal as Cate Hennessy, Kaley Cuoco as Bridget Hennessy, Amy Davidson as Kerry Hennessy and Martin Spanjers as Rory Hennessy.

Guest starring are Mo Gaffney as Principal Connelly, Kelsey Batelaan as little Bridget, Heather McLaughlin as teacher (o.s.) and Rachel Bilson as gum-chewing girl.

“Career Choices” was written by Amy Engelberg & Wendy Engelberg and directed by Terry Hughes.

”8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter” is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound.
