Sad Freddie/Chico's hurt wrist

Does anyone remember in Freddie's mother's book where she talks about when Freddie got mad he would punch the nearest wall. In october he was upset and when he punched the wall he dislocated his wrist. Then in November he was driving his car and trying to adjust his wrist band and his car swerved and a police pulled him over. I think he was booked and put in a cell (all the while he was cracking jokes at the police but they didn't like it!) Anyway, I think I discovered the episode where it is really obvious that Freddie has a sore wrist. It's in the Barrio Better Business Bureau episode. Ed is sitting on the sofa and Chico comes back to the garage after the meeting. He's telling Ed they elected him as president of the BBBB. Poor Freddie is really holding his wrist up in the air in that scene as though it really does hurt him - poor baby.
Next time you see that episode look at the way he's holding his wrist up - it's very obvious that it hurts. That would also fall in that same time frame. Anyone else notice that?

I rememebr reading that in his moms book. Sad how the police mistreated him. Poor baby! I'll have to watch out for that in that episode.

I watched the episode on my tapes today and I saw at first how Freddie seemed to make unusually much use of his left hand, then in the scene where he tells Ed he has been elected, when he is leaning across the back of the couch, his right hand looks so swollen it doesn't even look real! And once in a while I thought I saw him make a face as if he were in alot of pain. Other times as well he seemed to be supporting his right hand with his left.

Catcopy, you are absolutely right. I just saw this episode and saw how he treated this hand very delicately and appeared to be in pain. Mariposa, I agree that he was supporting that wrist in some scenes. Thank-you ladies for your great observation and for pointing this out. It was very sad to watch, now knowing what the matter was.

I want to say Thanks to catcopy for starting this topic. I just watched that episode and noticed him holding his wrist in some scenes and just using his left arm a lot more than usual. It's nice to have folks here on the board that will share the info like this so we can watch it when it comes up. I have been waiting patiently for this episode for weeks now. Thank you catcopy!
