I have no desire to keep up with all these fights anymore and try and break them up to keep peace. Anyone who is interested in moderating this main chit chat board, please e-mail me.

Contrary to popular belief, you can't say whatever you want on this board. You are my guest, this is my house - you agree to my rules. There has to be certain guidelines. The troublemakers are simply going to be banned, so if you like posting here - you had better get your act together quickly.

I vote for Jenny too, or DawsonGirl. I really am starting to get tired of some of these fights here. I'm all for freedom of speech, but there's no need to be rude to people who have different opinions than you do.

I think TheFonz and Jenny would be a good moderating team. They're both calm, non-combative people with good judgement. There's no need for anyone heavy-handed who's going to get power happy and close boards left and right. Disagreements are fun, and if they're stopped altogether, I think the board would lose members. I don't even participate in them, but they're fun to read. It has gotten out of hand lately though.
I know TJ has his reasons and they're good reasons, but I think Chit Chat should stay as it is.

I agree. I mean, not everyone agrees on everything. I can see that another moderator would be very nice. We can argue without blowing up. We should be able to display our agreements like an adult.

Thank you! You would too. So would PennyLanem & Wingsfan - there's even more that would make great moderators also. I actually Emailed him saying I was interested if he ever needed one. Id much rather be a moderator on the Happy Days board, but we've never had a fight there, so its not really necessary! LOl.

There's nothing wrong with a good old fashioned debate every now and then, but I'll have to agree many of the fights have gotten just a wee bit out of control! Let's not stop the debating (it can be fun), but let's not blow up! I'm sure we can find a happy medium.

I can live with a fight or two, that is to be expected.. but I could close about half of the topics on this 1st page alone and I haven't even read any of them - why does every thread need to turn into one??

I vote for Jenny as well, And far as The Fonz's Idea, I think 2 or more would be a good idea, Since there is so much fighting and everything, JMO though...

No, all people do not like fights.. do not make a blanket statement like that - you can't speak for everyone here.. people would not be reporting posts every day if they didn't see them starting trouble.

It's one thing to debate, it's another thing to start using vulgar language to get your point across and call people names.. these are not 'debates'.
